    Dennis Schroeder likely Pacer pick?

    Word is starting to be heard Dennis Schroeder will be the Pacers pick at
    23 in the Draft Thrusday night if he is available when the Pacers pick. His quickness and ball handling reminds the Pacers brass of Rajon Rando. Also like Rondo his shot is below average on his jumper. His size 6'2 165 makes him too slight of build for big minutes at this time, thus its very likely the Pacers stach him in Europe for a couple years he will turn 20 in Sept.

    Another plus is if they let him stay in Europe he can develop and not count against the cap till he is ready to play in the NBA.

          seems to me that Isaiah canaan is a possibility as well if Schroeder isnt there

          Breaking news: Isaiah Canaan has a second workout with Indiana tomorrow. His first one was private, this one is a group workout.
          I would rather have Schroeder but I think we will have to move up to get him. Rockets want to dump TRob so maybe we could do our first and second for TRob and the 17th?

              Rockets want to trade Robinson w/o taking anything back salary wise. We can non do that...

                          I'd be happy with almost anyone the Pacers are projected to draft. But Schroeder, Green, Rice , or Muscala are my preferred choices.

                              I'd be ecstatic if we got Larkin. But more likely to happen and what I would like would be Hardaway Jr first round, then Peyton Siva in the 2nd round

                                  I think I'd be happy with anything but another 3rd string Center
                                  Peck is basically omniscient when it comes to understanding how the minds of Herb Simon and Kevin Pritchard work. I was a fool to ever question him and now feel deep shame for not understanding that this team believes in continuity above talent.

                                          Yeah, no offense, but where are all of these people getting this info from?

                                          Anyways if it is true then I'd be happy. I'll take him or Canaan. One thing though, does he really need to be kept in Europe for awhile? I was hoping for a guy who could come in and help right away. I have never understood the point of drafting guys and keeping them overseas, especially if it is a first round pick.

                                              Have you forgotten the Rockets want to dump TRob without taking back salary. The Pacers aren't under the cap to be able to do this. I'd like to get TRob, but the only way is get a 3rd team involved who has the cap to get TRob. That's a very unlikely scenario. It's just one of those we want, but can't get situations.
