Man, really wish there was a way to do a S&T for one, and sign the other with the MLE for Jack and Landry.

The Jazz seem to be in a giving mood....

Lakers would be stupid not to demand Harrison Barnes in a S&T of D12 to the Warriors.

Get a good young prospect, a C on an expiring deal, and a pick. They're in position to potentially have a ton of capspace next summer and they're the Lakers. Compared to losing him for nothing I'd take it.

If the lakers can get a good package I think they do it, then moving Howard would be the best thing for them.

Who are they getting, armed with nothing but an old, crippled kobe bryant?

The Lakers were a prime FA destination because they were a perennial contender and they had one of the best players ever. Are they going to have the same kind of pull after they miss the playoffs with no future stars in tow?

Pretty much whoever they want. C'mon man, you know like half the league would give up a nut to be a Laker.

Harrison Barnes and maybe Thompson too? that is a good start I think.

I just hope that the Warriors / Pacers tickets are cheap.....I only have 1 frakkin game that I want to go to each year....I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for lower bowl seats in row 23 for my whole family

Half the league is giving up a nut to be a Heat or a Clipper. Market size isn't everything. You have to have a winning team to draw the top FAs.

The Lakers right now are a decaying, sinking ship. They have no young blood to revitalize them in the eyes of other FAs.

Dwight is actually smart to keep Houston in the running if GS is his real choice.
It will be hard for him to get to GS without the Lakers help.
If the Lakers know there's no other teams Dwight would go to other than LA if he isn't S&T to GS than why would LA help him leave?

The Lakers have missed the playoffs 4 times in like 50 years. I know what you're saying, they'll have Kobe and Nash at 65 years old and nothing else but clearly the Lakers don't stay down for long, they're going to be just fine.
