Anyone watching Heat/Bulls over the Pacers tonight?

Blasphemy, I know. But come on guys, this is the 2nd greatest streak in American sports history that we're witnessing right here. It seems like everyone on this board loves to hate on the Heat, and even the Bulls, but some of you guys need to put your allegiance aside and respect what you're witnessing.

I'm watching Heat/Bulls and flipping to Pacers/Rockets during commercials, and I don't think that makes me any less of a Pacers fan.

I have watched big NBA games over Pacers games that have ended up as blowouts, but I hate both teams too much to watch to be honest. I can't root for either team.

You don't even have to have a rooting interest, though. Watching a player who's going to end up top 5 all-time is usually enough for me to tune in, but adding a historic win streak on top of that?

I'm watching for sure. LeBron is special. And so is this streak.

This. If there was not a Pacer game on I MIGHT go somewhere to watch the Heat game, but frankly I'd just get mad when the announcers continue their search for pieces of LeBoshWade's anatomy to kiss.

Now, if I didn't spend every day at the gym watching the Miami Heat Sports Channel (spelled ESPN), I might feel differently. I mean, the other day on PTI the question was "is this Miami team ALREADY better than the Lakers record-holding team", thus setting up the inevitable declaration of how the Heat are the greatest thing in basketball ever kiss kiss drool drool no matter if the Bulls or the Spurs beat them.

I think the NBA would be happier if there were a way to have 82 games of the Heat playing themselves on $1000 per viewer pay-per-view and cut out this whole "competition" thing. In fact, I would bet if the Heat manage to break the 33 game streak record they'll just have a $1-per-vote text message competition for the NBA championship - would probably bring in more money than actual ticket sales and the Heat would win something like 50-billion-to-10.

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...

The Bulls are hell to watch. I wouldn't watch even if the Pacers weren't playing.

I don't think the Bulls are good enough to beat them right now. So it would be pointless really. If I were to watch the game it would be to route against the Heat. I think the upcoming Spurs game is the best chance we will have to see this streak end. Compound that on top of the fact the Pacers are playing at the same time, I would not miss this game just to see the Heat smoke the Bulls. I wouldn't miss any Pacer game to watch any other game ever, unless it was a Colts game or a Hoosier's tournament game. Now if the Pacers weren't playing, I might tune in for the fourth. That's when the game will be decided. I haven't checked the start times of the games, but if the Chicago game is an hour later as usual then maybe I will watch the fourth. Still though I don't think I can really root for either team, because I dislike them both. That is just going into weird land for me. I'm more neutral about the Spurs so it would be easier for me to jump on their bandwagon for the night and hope they smash the Heat.

I never watch any game over the Pacers. I might switch to this game during commercials. I don't think the Bulls will beat them though.

I am actually cheering emphatically for Chicago on this one. It's time for someone to really hit Miami in the mouth, maybe tussle a little bit. Bulls are the perfect candidate lol

But to answer the question, I will have my arms and legs ripped off before I watch any professional basketball game over the Pacers.

Seriously? You are less of a pacers fan in my book. **** the heat. I could give a **** less about their streak. Most of their wins are vs non playoff teams in that streak. They will lose vs the spurs anyways. Pacers over everything. All day.
