You never know with Jackson. He could've been hollering about lack of PT or something of that nature or San Antonio simply wanted to go younger on the wings. We'll have to see who they pick up.Comment

as for the McGrady hubbub
NBA players being released, but Frank Vogel says he doesn't expect Pacers to make a roster addition.

According to the local sports radio stations, Jackson and Pop have been at odds over playing time and such most of the season. He must have really been a pain in the butt.Comment

why?? Any player that we sign can't play in the playoffs would make no sense. I still dont understand why we kept little Ben around dude isnt a NBA player. I guess the Pacers felt like being a charity? I would of much rather cut Ben and bought a Dleague team much better investment.Comment

It's never a good idea to butt heads with the most stubborn "my way or the highway" Coach in the League.

The question now is will anyone else sign him for next season? I think it was more than Pop that made this happen though. I bet the other vets were tired or his act as well.Comment

plus from what I understand McCalebb's not looking to get to the NBA any way he can. He's not gonna come be a 13th man with a non-guaranteed minimum deal, he's got a nice life going in Turkey.Comment

I would not be surprised if he ends up like Sprewell or Iverson.Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.Comment

Is there any doubt that the refs had an agenda in tonight's Lakers game? They shot 50 free throws. Fifty! This was almost as bad as Lakers Kings in 2002. It's like the refs don't even attempt to be subtle about it anymore. I never like to see a guy get hurt, but maybe Kobe's injury was a little bit of karma.Comment
