Feel really, really bad for Kobe. What a competitor he's been this year.

I hope this is sarcasm because that's how you treat almost all injuries

          Most definitely sarcasm.

No, it's an ankle, it'll be fine. If it was a tendon in his knee, he'd be DOOMED.

I hope he plays. I spent a decent chunk of coin on tickets for tomorrow's game and will be extremely disappointed if I don't get to see the Mamba. I haven't seen him in person in a few years.

Hopefully they don't "misdiagnose" Kobe because I don't really want him to miss 50+ games next season.

I also hope they check for the small things first, they should give him an Advil to prevent headaches, a teraflu just in case he has the cold and they should take an x-ray of his lungs just to make sure he doesn't have bronchitis, I also hope they don't send him home and tell him to come back in 3 months to check the ankle, you never know what this NBA doctors (hacks) can do to a player, if only they had quality health care.....

I've never been a huge fan of Kobe's and think he's even been a tad bit overrated throughout his career, but with that said, he's a great player and competitor. Him and LeBron are the only true superstars in the league, imo.

You're right. They should immediately do surgery for a ruptured achilles tendon or a broken ankle. No sense starting out with the treatment for a sprain, go straight to the worst case.

Hopefully he goes to his local pharmacy to get PRP in his ankle, that seems like "non worst case scenario treatment", I heard that CVS pharmacy has an offer of two bottles of Advil and a bag of ice for free if you buy two PRP's sessions.

I think amputation is scheduled for tonight.

You have one thing right, PRP for a sprained ankle is about as useful as it would be for tendinosis. But since you think PRP is a treatment for tendinosis, you might well include it for sprained ankles or concussions.

The way he's been carrying on about this on Twitter, I think you are right!

I would have to ask the guy in the pharmacy to know for what other things I can use the two PRP bottles I got.

I also told him that I probably have a torn ACL and he told me to do what NBA players usually do, he said "you need to play to rehab and if you are not able to play for the next two weeks that is normal, just take an Advil and you should be OK".

Yeaaa... found a way to insult the Pacers using other news!
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."
