With all of the talk of Nash or Williams, I forgot about Billups. He still has a lot left in the tank and is better than DC/Hill.

If the Knicks lose Landry Fields, I could see them taking Dhantay Jones off the Pacers for cap space, it might be enough cap space to do some more things.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Yes, if Billups is healthy and recovered I would love to have him. Great leader, champion, and reliable from the perimeter.

How can the Celtics sign Terry... crazy. Great pick up, imo.

Timing wise, can you sign EJ to an offer sheet and still have time to match Roy, if NO matches for EJ?

I intrigued myself with this question. If you can, they should, imo.

Agree don't think he really brings us to the next level. And seems too slow to defend these fast pg's. Nowadays.

Yes, if you can get Roy to agree to wait to sign his sheet.

I hope it happens too, and for the same reason, but the media will just find some other subject to beat to death.

If that's all he really offers, I'll keep Dahntay. He made tremendous strides in his 3pt shooting last year.

Gerald Green off the bench would be huge for us. He did a complete 180 in terms of maturity, he hits shots, he's athletic as it gets.

I agree. I think he would be an excellent backup to Paul and Danny. He might even continue to improve enough to become a starter on a quality team too.

Yes, of course. It would require some other player movement, however. I talked about it on another thread:

This is a poll to help me confirm or deny that the FO is in a lose/lose proposition when it comes to this situation. From reading the forum it seems there are just as many people who will go off on the FO if we sign Roy as there are those who will go off on the FO if we don't sign. Poll will be to see if that perception

The bottom line is that I believe you can use the Bird exceptions on Hibbert and Hill to go past the salary cap, but to stay below the lux tax, we'd have to lose around 3-4million in salary. This is what makes the S&T a more viable model, unless the FO has some sort of smaller series of trades in place to move Hansbrough, DJ, or both.
