Can you tell me for sure that they didn't try? Perhaps the Nets just didn't want the Pacers' pick. Perhaps they didn't want to help a fellow contender in the East with one of their biggest deficiencies. Just because the Pacers don't get a deal done doesn't mean they didn't try.

Kidd and Camby will be solid veteran additions for New York. They will be a better team than us if they can stay healthy and develop a groove.

Yeah, but he was a starting PG last year. As long as they retain Lin, Kidd will just be coming off of the bench. He will be worth every penny as far as veteran championship leadership is concerned and will occasionally still make some big plays.

Camby can still play. Averaged 9 boards in 59/66 games last season. He will be very valuable come playoff time. He would play very solid D on Roy if we met up with them in a series.

It's obvious, but Larry Coon says a lot of execs have told him there's tons of dominoes that're going to fall as soon as this Dwight Howard stuff gets figured out.

That could be 6 months lol. If I was the Magic I wouldnt trade him to NJ unless somehow their awful got 10X better. I would wait it out and not rush into a trade they have time and leverage on their side.


I would think HOU can offer a rental package that is better JMO. If the Magic ship him to NJ for that package they should just stop playing for 10-15 years they wont win ****.


On JR Smith finally the NBA is smarting up on him I cant believe how that guy got overpaid 3m is decent I guess. I still cant pay a guy the MMLE when half the time he is hurting his team.

I agree the Magic are getting a terrible deal out of this, but seems like it's pretty close to done. Twitter says so, so it's gotta be true. Coon was saying he wouldn't be surprised if it's done within a day or two.

Seems like the contract for Kris Humphries is the holdup. It finally does go down I really wanna see how cheap we could get Varejao.

I expect the Pacers to sign someone tomorrow. They'll likely try to sign someone before anything loopy can happen with Roy/George.


Mayo or Lee, tomorrow, are possibilities. The precursor will be renouncing rights to Barbosa. Keep your eyes open.

You and me both. I'm tired of sitting around waiting for the Pacers to make moves. I'm excited that they got Roy to re-sign and everything. But I'm tired of waiting for us to do anything (I know, I know, what am I gonna do about it? nothing).

The clips just signed Crawford, and re-signed Billups who is going to play the 2 because they still have CP3 and Bledsoe. I'm not sure how much time let alone shots Brooks is going to get if he's playing in LA.

No matter how you slice it.....Brooks will likely be worth more of an asset than a pick in the 20s is going to be. When a Team is likely going to have limited SalaryCap flexibility for the next couple of seasons ( like where we will be in the next couple of seasons ), acquiring assets like this is essential....whether they are used as cheap talent....or as some valuable trading asset in some trade to improve the Team.

Good for him. The guy is a UFA and is being used as a piece to make a trade work. Just like any other Player.....he should be looking out for himself and securing his future. He should demand and expect a multi-year contract.

If the Cavs only want to give him a single year contract....well, I'd hope that Mr. Khardashian will just say No.

Refuse to believe 4-team Howard trade rumor since it involves the words "Brook Lopez" and "max deal." No team could possibly be that dumb.

Wouldn't Brook Lopez get a higher MAX Contract since he was drafted at #10 as opposed to #17?

If he gets more....I'm not going to complain as much about giving Hibbert $58+ mil a year.
