Re: Pacers players Involed in heated argument at a Orlando nightclub
There is a big difference in the job myself and many others on this board work and the job of these professional athletes.
These guys are big, rich, and famous. That results in a target on their back wherever they go. It doesn't matter if they are doing anything wrong they will still be a target for the jerks and punks at the nightclubs. I am sure a lot of us have been involved or had friends who have gotten into confrontations at bars. That stuff can escalate quick. A couple of my friends can be hot heads and I don't even go out with them much because of it. You can find trouble at a bar or nightclub if you are just an average joe like myself or most of the people on this board. You add the fame and money that these players have and that just increases the chances of being involved in a confrontation.
As already stated earlier nothing good happens after midnight. Why put yourself in a position like that if you are a professional athlete? It just isn't worth it.
The point here is that they put themselves in a vulnerable position where this could have became ugly real quick. You never know what other people are going to do. Someone might have a gun or come after you throwing punches. I believe the organization, fans, and players want to stay out of controversy. You don't have to start the controversy but you can become involved in it/look real bad just by being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
