Just now getting on here and wanted to know if anybody else saw where Danny and Quentin Richardson were trash talking and Danny said "Shut the F*** Up! Shut the F*** Up!" right at Richardson. I loved it personally...

I missed the game due to working late. I tried to check out the highlights on ESPN but they showed our game in a short blip and most of the highlights were of Big Baby hitting the mid-range jumper.

I mentioned this in the game thread.....when Big Baby's midrange jumpshot is falling...it's falling. But like any other jumpshooter.....it relies on having energy and the legs to get the necessary lift. My guess is that by the 2nd half...he fell back to earth cuz when it came to his jumpshot.
That's what I was thinking. Keep on pumping those legs fat *** and we'll see how much you've got left in the 2nd half. Evidently, not a lot...

There was a brief, and very decisive, and altogether unprecedented, outburst of genuine officiating, and it was directed at the best player in the world, and that, my dear young person, simply is not done."

What will the Magic do in game 4? If they move their focus back on Hibbert on defense, then West is just going to go off again. Either way one of West or Hibbert is going to have a big game. They can't stop both of them.

I'm assuming you watched the game, right? (Not being smart--there's some people that get on here without watching the game but just read the box scores.)

Hill makes the needed, obvious pass, most every time down the floor. He makes a simple pass to West at the elbow, or Roy in the middle, or Granger on the wing. It's not flashy, but it gets our offense started quickly.

Collison, still, can't make that pass. And the wheels never get going, and one person (often Collison) ends up going one on one as the clock winds down.

George Hill makes a huge difference. Then, add on to the fact that he has some pretty excellent offensive game himself and he's a very solid defender.

You've got to look past the assist stat line.

Someone said you were in jail, and that's why we hadn't heard from you. Glad to hear it's about golf. Had no idea you were a player. (Here's an article I wrote about Bubba and Tiger: www.coolbloobridge.com )

I feel a little better about the next game not being until Saturday. But I would feel all around better if he just decided not to throw a big bash during something as serious as the playoffs. It's not about morals, it's about professionalism and keeping his job a higher priority than pleasure during a very key time. jmo.

As far as my watching the game, I'm not sure I've missed a Pacers game this year, so yes I saw the game.

Off the top of my head, I believe the Pacers have only lost 2/3 games with Hill starting at PG. Not knocking that at all, I just feel Hill isn't the end all ANSWER at PG. My post was in regard to his lack of asts, and the criteria I personally expect from a PG. "Right now" Hill is the best PG the Pacers has had since Good Tinsley, but that doesn't necessarily say he's the Pacers PG of the future either. It just says he's presently better than Ford, Diener, Watson, Price, etc. One has to remember 2/3-3/4 of the Pacers wins were with DC as the starting PG, and I don't see DC as the PG of the future either. Then, I don't see Tyler as the answer at PF, as a starter or b/u, for the future either. JMOAA

Great team win. Let big baby get what he wants and shut everybody else down....i love that gameplan. Can't stand big baby though....Like Quinn Buckner said "who's dancing now."

if he does that, the Magic become a much easier team to defend

I would kill for an avatar and/or smiley of Big Baby's little demi-tantrum on the floor after the foul call in (I think) the 3rd.

This is probably dumb, but I'm almost wondering if the Pacers should just keep leaving that mid-range jumper open for Big Baby, let him "get his" if he wants it in the first half.

I was frustrated as all get-out watching Big Baby continue to nail jumper after jumper with no one in his face last night. And then I realized how GD exhausted he was in the second half from all that first half work. The Magic had been solely leaning on him and had NO clue where to go with the ball when he lost his legs. Maybe it's not a bad strategy to concede some points (granted, not at the rim) to him in the first half (assuming his jumper is on) and just let him wear himself out, because his conditioning is horrendous. From there, you just have to stay on QRich, Reddick and Turkey Glue on the perimeter (easier said than done on Reddick) and you're set.

Everyone is giving Stan a lot of credit, but can anyone figure out why Redick doesn't get most of the shooting guard minutes? He's a much better offensive player than JRich at this point and he's only slightly inferior defensively.
