Nuggets make Chris Anderson available in trade.

Chris Andersen is available from the Nuggets via trade, according to sources.

Denver has several other big men in Nene, Kosta Koufos and Timofey Mozgov.

Anyone think this would be worth pursuing like I do? We could send them Lou and D. Jones outright for him along with a second, if needed. That works money wise and would save us an additional mil as well.

I would keep D. Jones, but they can have Lou.

Remember when we could have gotten 1-2 solid players and a possible Top 3 draft pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by trading away Paul George?

I'd take him just straight up, but otherwise we don't need him.

I'm not sure what they would want for him, but I have always liked the Birdman. He seems a little repetitive with Sour Lou, but I think he's a better player. He strikes me as a bit of a headcase, but as always, if the price was right I would be interested.

Birdman is a bit past his prime... But is putting up better numbers than Lou this year... I don't think he is worth both Lou and Dahntay though... That trade would make us real short on wings... And how does Birdman's contract look?

He does have a smash mouth look though...

If we could find a way to get him for a second round pick, that would be a very beneficial trade. Per 14 minutes this year, Birdman is giving you 5 ppg, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks. In 14 minutes, Foster is giving you 3 ppg and 4.5 rebounds. And in 10 mpg, Lou is giving us 2.4 ppg and 2.4 rpg. I see this matched with Roy Hibbert, and I see a deep playoff frontline. You can never have too many bigs that aren't afraid to bang. That is exactly what Anderson, Foster, and Lou would be, with Foster leading the charge off the bench. This is contingent upon Jeff stay healthy though. He is more vital to this team than he is given credit for.

No interest on that multi-year deal.

Are you ok with paying David West ten mil a year? Foster is making three mil this year. Andersons deal is a bit much but the dude can play and outwork anyone hes up against. We need a player like him.

Don't we already have Amundson doing the exact same thing? Hustling, outworking people? Only difference is, is that the Birdman can block shots. However, neither have any offensive game. I also don't see the 33 year old Andersen aging that well, as he relies purely on his gifted athleticism.

If we had a point guard who could get D West the ball, he'd be able to show that he's worth the ten mil. I don't know how many times I've watched D West standing around not touching the ball the entire possession.

The dude is capable of gettin 20 point on any given night and that jumper is Clutch. So D West was a bad example to use.

We have 15mil plus player salary going out to spend by the deadline if desired. We have plenty of mediocre type players. Sure don't need this bad mediocre contract when we have Lou, Tyler, Jeff & Jeff.

Let's think of a expiring that can really influence a game...like a Kaman or Camby!

I'm fine with paying David West $10 million a year for this season and next. He is an impact player on and off the court. He's a leader. I'm fine with paying Foster $3 million. Andersen is on the decline and I think PR07 makes a really good point about his game relying too much on his athleticism. We may need a guy like him, but not with that sticker price.

Though I feel the Pacers need another big with Foster only playing every other game, I think the Pacers are looking for players who can score as well. That's why they were interested in Kaman.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kaman goes back on the trade block. He's free agent next year, and the Hornets need assets, and can't allow him to walk and get nothing but cap space in return.

Though I think the Birdman could still help this team, he's similiar to Lou like others have stated. Though he may be slightly better, not sure that would be an upgrade, and something Bird is willing to give up even cap space for.

You look at who the Pacers have been interested in, and you see Kaman and JR Smith who can both score as well as defend. I think these are the type of players you see the Pacers target. The trade deadline is less than a month away, and you really don't want to use cap space or trade away a piece unless you know there won't be anything better available at the trade deadline
