    Granger needs to be benched

This guy looks lost out there. His shots are flat. I'm not even sure he's shooting above 30%fg. He gets the ball and literally dribbles in circles. When he passes to outside shooters, they are bad passes that take the shooter out of rhythm. He's a turnover machine and way to inconsistent on defense.

I've never seen a guys game fall off the map like this.

I don't think Granger kept himself in great shape during the lockout. When guys are consistently short on their shots, usually their legs are tired or have given out of them a little. He has been pretty miserable this season, there's no way around it. I think he will get better, but I honestly think he is playing his way into shape. He doesn't need to be benched, that would create all sorts of problems that we don't need. He needs to just play through it and be more selective with his shots.

Won't happen, but damn...I'm officially concerned about him. Usually he gets fired up for Lebron. Tonight...nothing.

He probably did the same thing he does every off season.

Doesn't he play bad in pretty much every preseason he plays in? That suggests this isn't atypical. it's just different because these games count. We'd still be in preseason if this was a regular season.

I think we need to stop forcing him to be somebody that he is not, why not just let him park by the 3 point line when he is really good at doing it? Why keep forcing him to dribble? We already have enough scorers inside.

Tonight would have technically been the last "preseason" game from a numbers perspective (8 games played), but if he's gonna be this for a full month (normally preseason is all of Oct), we're in deep ****.

Used to love Danny back in the MIP days, but anymore it just hurts me to watch him shoot the ball.

We aren't paying him 12 million a year to be a glorified James Jones, that's why.

Not sure what's wrong with him, but his shot looks awful these days. Maybe it's just taking him a while to get his legs back and in playing shape.

He still has it in him. He's clearly in a funk right now though. He needs to show the type of intensity he did in the playoffs.

All I keep asking myself is, "Is this the same guy that put up 22 PPG on 48% shooting against Luol Deng and the defensive minded Bulls in the playoffs?" I mean seriously, that was the best Danny had looked offensively in 2 years and now this is the worst he has looked...ever.

A lot of players do pretty well in the NBA by shooting 3's, Ray Allen is one example, at this moment we don't have anybody that could stretch the floor why not let Danny be that guy? I think is hard for Danny to dribble inside when you have a bunch of defender clogging the paint because West and Roy are inside.

I'd be all for benching him, but who do you start at SF then?

Lance? Dahntay? George? If George, who's at 2? Hill?

I don't know if it solves anything even if it might be deserved.

Cause he can't make a shot?

I agree, he needs to stop dribbling, and learn how to post up. That's where his trips to the line need to come from.

I think it's hard for him to dribble inside because he's just not that good of a ballhandler. How many years have they supposedly been working on him driving the ball and creating his own offense? Where is the improvement?

Ray Allen is also incredibly good at moving without the basketball, running off screens, and can also shoot off the dribble. He doesn't just park at the three point line. If we want that player, I'm sure the Bulls would trade us Korver for Granger.
