Posted this in the other thread.

Well here's the Ants schedule. Wow, didn't realize Piston, Pacer, and Bucks fans could all have a group hug.

    Your Mad Ant roster...

You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

I really like Corey Allmond, I know Chris Hunter but don't like him. I remember Antonio Smith being a workhorse for MSU, but no idea what he's been up to since 1999.

      Conference Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 2005

Not too thrilled with our schedule. 3 of the first 4 on the road.

You're free to stick to lockout discussion, UB. The NBDL is like the WNBA to me- if there's some good minor league ball, i'll watch it for a while.

Frankly, it might be refreshing following a group of professionals that were playing for their livelihood every night. This lockout could be great for the NBDL.

I would much rather follow this than NBA court disputes.

And what's nice when you look at some of the rosters you do find names you recognize. Shoot I went to the Canton Charge website and former Pacer Keith McLeod pops up first thing with an interview. Very nice man who always took the time to talk to Pacer fans for the short time he was here.

Fumbling with the depth chart, The only obvious starters I see are Allmond and Hunter. No idea who will be running the point, or who the forwards will be.

Being a former Fort Wayne's Fury season ticket holder, it will be nice getting home now and again to see some pro ball during our winter of discontent. At least the Coliseum there is a pretty nice venue since the remodel.

Gnome, since you know the place, how close is the seating? PDers may need to seriously think about making a road trip some weekend up there for a game.

If a group from the boards actually does that let me know. I am 10 minutes from the coliseum.

MC is a traditional hockey building with great sideline seats but the corners and baselines feel like a good ways away to the point where they use to curtain off behind one of the baskets. Back in the days of the Fury, the building would be about a little more then half capacity (3000 of 5000) with the curtain down before the remodel. Since the remodel, I've only attended the exhibition game the Pacers played there with a crowd of over 6500 in a building that was expanded to 12,500/Bball. It felt a bit cavernous with the upper deck being added.

All in all, it's not a bad building to catch a game in.

**** it. I'll ride this train. Firstly and most importantly, do the Mad Ants have a radio affiliate? Is there any way to follow them besides going to the games or looking at box scores after the games are over?
