Danny Granger (1:17 PM)
Hey guys. I'm chatting as part of the EAS Unstoppable Tour where we found one athlete to take on 30 different sports in 30 consecutive days in 30 cities across America. Sned me your questions, I'm ready!
Carrington (Las Vegas)
What was it like playing hoops with Lt. Sam Tickle during the EAS Unstoppabble Tour?
Danny Granger (1:18 PM)
It was a lot of fun. He had just come back from another event so he was a little tired but he did a great job. I gave him so NBA drills and they were a little challenging for him but he did good.
Drew (San Diego, CA)
Have you gone to visit our troops overseas? If not, is that something you would want to do?
Danny Granger (1:19 PM)
I went to Indonesia for a basketball event and I had the chance to visit troops over there. I would like to go overseas again to visit our troops. It's good to sit and talk with the men and women who protect and serve our country.
Terry (Detroit)
How do you feel about Scottie Pippen's comments regarding Lebron James being better than Michael Jordan?
Danny Granger (1:20 PM)
I don't really agree with it. I think LeBron is a great player and he will go down as one of the best players ever but he's not better than Jordan. A lot of players have modeled their game after Jordan. Jordan really changed the game of basketball. I think he will always be the greatest player.
jake (kansas city)
what do you think the pacers need to do to get to the next level?
Danny Granger (1:22 PM)
We are a fairly young team and experience comes with winning. Along with experience, I think another vetern would help us out.
Drew (NY)
who is the toughest defender you have faced
Danny Granger (1:23 PM)
I would have to say Ron Artest about three years ago. I was at his mercy, back then he was the most tenacious defender I've ever faced. LeBron isn't bad either.
Cheesehead Sports Nut (Chicago, IL)
I am not trying to get you fined here but if you could change one thing about the NBA, what would you change and why?
Danny Granger (1:24 PM)
I would probably change back-to-back games. It's tough flying from city-to-city, getting in at 2 am and playing a game at 7 pm. It's really tough on your body.
Olivia (Indiana)
Hi, I am 11 years old and I idolize you. I was wondering if you had any tips for me to exceed at a level you are at?
Danny Granger (1:25 PM)
The best advice I can give you is to keep working hard and keep doing the things that make you successful. Since you are still growing, you have to have the right nutrition because your body is still growing. The right nutrition is key to growing up strong.
Jonathon Spunar (Livonia, MI)
Who will be the biggest X-factor in the NBA Finals for the Heat outside of the Big 3?
Danny Granger (1:26 PM)
I'd have to say Joel Anthony. He matched up with Dirk a lot in Game 1. He can really change the series with the way he defends Dirk.
Eric (Indi)
What will be the main focus this offseason for your game?
Danny Granger (1:27 PM)
My main focus is to work on my isolation game. We had a more of a free-flowing offense last season so working on and getting better at my isolation game will help the offense run much more smoothly.
Jon (Indy)
Danny your the man! What about your game are you working to improve on this summer and is there any cool exotic places your going to travel to?
Danny Granger (1:32 PM)
Yes, this summer I'm going to Africa and Newfoundland, Canada. I'm also trying to plan a trip to Brazil. I've been there once and had a great time. I like to travel as much as I can in the offseason because there is just so many nice places to see.
Danny Granger (1:33 PM)
Go to www.unstoppabletour.com where you can see all the videos of our events. It a great cause supporting injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Thanks for the questions. Continue to enjoy the NBA Finals and have a safe happy summer!
