Re: Pacers Vs NBA referees postgame thread
My God, this game was horribly officiated. Danny had every reason to be pissed after that foul just now. I just cannot believe how lopsided it was.
Also, I enjoyed this thread title way more than I should have.Comment

Yea after rewinding that and looking at it again, that was definitely a foul. I can't stand Violet though...never could stand her.Larry Bird and Ryan Grigson- wasting the talents of Paul George and Andrew LuckComment

There's no question in my mind that certain teams are allowed to be more physical based on their reputation. I don't think it's a recent phenomenon, either.Comment

Collison, Paul, and McRoberts had pretty nice games. I expected a loss, but I'm a little annoyed at the free throw disparity.Comment

Re: Pacers Vs NBA referees postgame thread
Oh good, you all thought so too.
Fouls everywhere. And yes, some teams can get away with everything, and if you breathe on them you'll get the foul.
Would we have lost anyway? Probably. But I thought the guys played as a team well. They just didn't make shots and they got fouled quite often (they didn't make shots partially because they got fouled.)
I hope they don't get down on themselves.Comment

I don't think they get down after this, afterall whats better to bring a team together than to feel like they were collectively disrespected?Goodbye Captain, My Captain. I wish you had the chance to sink or swim with your ship on its quest for the "ship".Comment

Re: Pacers Vs NBA referees postgame thread
The officiating was terrible but the Celtics play with an intensity in the defensive end that few, if any, other teams can match. Perhaps the favorable officiating allows such a style of play.Comment

Re: Pacers Vs NBA referees postgame thread
Look, I don't think we would have won anyways, but the officiating made this game damn near unwatchable. Really poor all the way around. I applaud Danny for getting that T, and I'm a little disappointed that Vogel didn't get it sooner. I don't take a whole lot away from this game. Tyler dropped down with his shooting, but a lot of those I feel were on shots he usually gets foul calls for. Josh played great. Danny came to play again. DC had 7 assists and no turnovers and looked to be creating a little more, which is great to see. McRoberts especially looked aggressive which is really, really nice to see.Comment

Re: Pacers Vs NBA referees postgame thread
The majority of the teams really need to write some kind of letter because these ****heads morons are ruining the game of basketball.
There's no reason the Celtics and LeBron/Miami should get their asses kissed and get everything going their way.
The NBA has become a freakin' circus.
The refs tie in to the way players play in this league.
Total bull****. This was the worst damn officiated game for us I think. Makes me wonder if they were sleep walking.Last edited by Trophy; 03-16-2011, 10:09 PM.Comment
