I agree it's harder to find with a talented big man, but I think it's all perspective and how you want your team ran.
I'd much rather have KD than Dwight. I'd much rather have Kobe than Pau. Wing players might be easy to come by, and by that I mean there are a lot of good ones in the league, but I think the difference between Kobe and Danny is a hell of a lot bigger than Dwight and Roy.
But then again I predict in the next 10-15 years the premium will be on long/athletic/lean wing players at each position. 2-4 are going to be 6'8"-6'10" and really not a lick of difference between their skill sets. 6'4" will be the new PG straight up not now not considered a tweener, and so on.
With or without Pau, the Lakers are contenders. If Kobe goes down, their goose is cooked. All just MHO.
