    Fan Jam

Never been to a Pacers fan jam. What do you expect to go on? Is it worth going downtown for? I saw they're passing out Pacers sling bags (by the way I must have even.though I have no idea what that is) to the first 5000 fans. The fan jam seems like it would be more for the kids.

It's for families. No scrimmages or skills challenges. It's just a way for the fans to interact with the players.

Fun event, you get free food and autographs, can't go wrong with it.

A sling bag is a drawstring gym bag.

INDIANAPOLIS - The annual Pacers FanJam presented by CNO Financial Group will be Sunday, Oct. 24, in Conseco Fieldhouse from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission is free along with free parking in the Virginia Avenue Garage located off of Delaware Street; and the first 5,000 fans in attendance receive a Pacers sling bag, as well as a voucher for a free hot dog, chips and a Pepsi product courtesy of CNO Financial Group.

Starting at 1:00 p.m., there will be autograph sessions featuring Pacers broadcasters Mark Boyle, Bobby “Slick” Leonard, Quinn Buckner, Chris Denari and Stacy Paetz; mascots Boomer and Freddy Fever; and photo opportunities with the Indiana Pacemates.

Fans will have the opportunity to see Pacers players participate in on-court skills competitions beginning at 2:00 p.m. Following the games on the Main Court will be the always popular “Rookie Show.” After the activities on the Main Court, all Pacers players will be available throughout the Fieldhouse for autographs.

There will also be a variety of interactive games; giveaways in each pavilion; live music featuring Endless Summer and a Home Court Garage Sale throughout the afternoon. Fans can also register to win prizes such as autographed items and a meet and greet with a Pacers player.

Did anyone receive a phone call or email about getting to participate in on court activities. I signed up, but have not heard anything and they are still allowing people to fill out the forms.

Thanks to the Pacer organization for holding this. I am not attending they year, but it's nice they take the time to put this on for the regular Joe who may not have the money to attend the games.

Wonder if any of the players were missing today, since the last cut has to come tomorrow?

Anyone attend and happen to do a head count?

Peck is basically omniscient when it comes to understanding how the minds of Herb Simon and Kevin Pritchard work. I was a fool to ever question him and now feel deep shame for not understanding that this team believes in continuity above talent.

That's been the new themes at this kind of stuff.

Instead of doing basketball related things, treat the players like they're five.
They all seem to enjoy it anyway.
