Not much going on unless you want to talk about Lance, so I just was thinking since Yahoo is ranking all players by position where will Granger end up? I'm thinking 4th behind Lebron, Durant, and Melo. Is that to high? Who else could be put above him, Paul Pierce, maybe. I don't think there are too many other SF's that are better than Granger.
Where will Granger be ranked on Yahoo's Ranking the Small Forwards?

The guy played injured quite a bit and still only seen a small dip in performance.
Offensively was still in the elite class of scoring in the league while maintaining average/above average defense.
On a nightly basis outscored his match up.Comment

Maybe if we start counting players who can play multiple positions in the SF category, then Danny might drop to around 9-10.
But after about the top 3ish small forwards theres a significant dropoff and the talent levels off, IMO.Comment

Paul Pierce may be ahead of Danny only because of how good the Celtics are as a whole as Pierce has REALLY dropped off in recent years--that doesn't mean he can still have some good games now and then, but Danny is definitely the better player between the two of them right now imo. My list below is where Danny is right now AT WORST among all small forwards:
1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Carmelo Anthony
4. Danny Granger
Personally I'd like to take Granger more than Anthony as Melo seems more of a ME ME ME player...well that and a whiner. And I really don't think Granger, during his All-Star season, was much less of a talent than Kevin Durant this past season--the Thunder only racked up more wins than Granger and the Pacers had in that All-Star season of his. Sure Danny had an off year this year and Durant is several years younger, but all in all they have the same skillsets and do the same things on the court. But nobody can top LeBron.Comment
