Hey Darren and James. It’s amazing to have you guys on the Pacers team now and I have two questions. Are you excited to play for the Pacers and do you think you can make an impact this year for us to turn the franchise around and put us back in the playoffs where we should be?

This question is for Darren...coming out of UCLA, have you always looked up to Reggie Miller. Have you gotten any advice from him?
Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:01 Carson K.
2:01
D.C. -- I didn't quite look up to Reggie but I did respect him as a player. I have gotten some advice from him in the past but nothing right now.

Darren, what kind of impact can you bring to a team that has struggled to play consistently over the past few seasons and where do you see the Pacers going in the next three years?
Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:01 Matt H.
2:02
D.C. -- I can bring some consistency. I see the Pacers making a deep run in the playoffs in the next three years and for years to come.

Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:02 Vince

Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:03

[Comment From Brandon D.Brandon D.: ]
James Posey, you are a great Veteran and you have been a champion, so you know what it's like to be with good players. So now you’re teaming with Danny Granger, Hansbrough, and Collison, how long do you think it will take for this team to be competing for the NBA Championship?
Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:04 Brandon D.
2:04
J.P -- It's a process. I guess it starts with step one right now, for us to take it one day at a time. At the end of the day it's about putting ourselves in a good situation to win basketball games. If you do that, you let the chips fall where they may.

James, as a quality veteran in this league, what do you think you can teach some of the younger players about winning and being successful?
Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:05 Vince
2:07
J.P. -- Thanks for the compliment. I know how important it is because I had good veterans when I came into this league. Not only did they help me become a better basketball player and understand the game. They helped me become a better person. That's important for organizations now because you want to have good character for the longevity of your career in the NBA. You want to be a good player, have good character and do the right things to last long.

Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:07 Alan
2:07
DC -- I don't know. First and foremost I want to make sure we win ballgames. A lot of those numbers were good individually but they weren't good for the team because we weren't winning games. If we can win games with those stats, that's a plus, but I want to make sure we win.

Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:08 Paul S.

DC -- For me, I live in L.A. and that's a big city. I can adapt to both. I know it's fast in L.A. and in a small city it's quiet and calm. That's more of my personality right there.
Tuesday August 17, 2010 2:08
2:09
JP - I can adapt to anywhere for the most part. The reason I'm here is basketball and to win and I'm always thinking of that first. When time permits I do want to enjoy what that city has to offer.

2:13

2:14
J.P. -- Winning at this level is a great feeling. It's hard to explain but that's one of the reasons you play this game. I'll wear my rings, depending on the event. If we're playing that team, I might wear it as a reminder -- 'Thank you, I appreciate you.' I wear them from time to time but they're usually in a safe place.
