    Lance Stephenson Interview

Sorry if this has already been posted, but here's an interview (video) with Lance Stephenson from the summer league games:

Lance has a pretty bad dialect, but if you sift past that, he comes off well.

I like how he said he likes to get the ball "to my players." He's already taking ownership.

He clearly is being strategic with his words, staying safe, humble—all the things you'd want out of a future star.

I really liked in a previous interview where he said, if he had the opportunity for another profession, he'd be an attorney. Don't know that a lot of other NBA players would say that.

i just hope he turns out to be the great player i'm hoping he will be... he has the tools and more than anything he seems to have the hunger to be great. I really like this guy.

He says what he thinks he should say, IMO. You don't get to know him as well, but it's also a fantastic PR tactic, and I think it shows maturity.

I really like this kid and think he is matured quite a bit. Good to see his desire to work harder and distribute the ball to team mates and get everyone involved.

I agree. And beyond that, he's got the perfect skillset for the Pacers' offense. I think it's right guy, right time.

Love the body - he's NBA-ready, already done a ton of work on strength as well as skills. Or maybe he was just born ready.
