This would normally be one of the few Pacers games I get to see. I did get to see them play when I was in Indiana back in the fall but that's going to be it for this season. I just can't see driving 50 miles to Denver to cheer for a loss to improve our lottery chances.
I'd say Nuggets by 20 should be about right.
Why do teams tank? Ask a Spurs fan.

I wonder what the vegas odds are for the pacers winning more than 5 games the rest of the year.

I really like the Nugs. Carmello is the 3rd best player in the league. Chauncey the definitive championship PG. Nene is a tough dude. Kenyon is annoying, but he is still a good player. Afflalo adds the D that they miss with Dahntay.

I really like what I seen out of the Nuggets this season. I'd love to see them upset LA and make it to the finals. Of course Dallas is looking pretty good after their trade, I'll be rooting for Carlisle and the Mavs also.

I wonder if the season were 1,000 games if we would ever hear the words... Troy to the bench, insert whomever starting at PF/C

I guess what Jim thinks we need is more dribble dribble dribble one on one action... AKA more fruit from the tree of penetration.

Clearly, probably has a better plus/minus, better in practice, better match up, alot of deflections defensively, plus he's not McBob.

The thing about it is between Murphy being our starting center, and-- excuse me.

Where was I? Oh, between that and TJ Ford now starting again, I'd almost, ALMOST swear the team was tanking. But I just can't bring myself to believe that Larry and/or Jim would be willing to do that.

Totally man, one of our fellow posters almost had me conviced that this really was a tank job by Jim with some great logic last week, this is after he subbed in 5 guards to try to get the rebound off a missed free throw at the end of the game .

But after listening to his show and seeing how pissed off Jim gets, I can't believe that anymore.

He really does care, and he is really trying to win with Murph (or the vets as he calls them, see the JOB show thread) and truly believes his lineups give him the best chance to win. +/- be damned (except when it comes to McBob)

I was ready to concede that Jim might not be as bad as it appears because he was really doing the secret tank job. Alas, it seems he really is as bad as it appears.
