    Hypothetically speaking...

Let's just say, for the sake of discussion, that Herb comes in and cleans house. Walsh goes to NY, Bird is fired, JOB is fired, and Tins is bought out. Let's also assume that the Pacers get the last playoff spot this season.

    Who do you want to:

    1) Be the new Pacers GM?
    2) Be the new Pacers coach?
    3) Have the Pacers draft with the 15th pick?

    1. Bill Polian
    2. Tony Dungy
    3....Peyton Manning?

    It's possible, right?
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

      1.) Kiki
      2.) Skiles
3.) If we make the playoffs who even cares. I guess I'd say Kevin Love.

        1) Not sure, but Morway interests me; however I worry about more of the same

        2) If I didn't think Skiles was the kind of guy who burns out players like Larry Brown, I might say him

        3) No idea, though I like that Love kid.

Probably doesn't matter at 15... Pkg it with players and look to trade up.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

                New GM.

Mowary or someone from the Spurs organization.

                New Coach.

Not for sure. I still like Rick. I'll say Alex English though.

                Draft at 15?

HELL NO! Silas and Jackson are both nuttier than fruitcakes.

                  As for my opinion:

GM--since Kevin Prichard is not available I have no idea, but I don't think I want Kiki.

Coach--Scott Skiles. If the players don't like him get new players.

Draft Pick--best available. My personal favorite would be Drew Neitzel.

Kiki would be a fine choice, but do keep in mind a couple of his mistakes that really cost the Nugz.

-Passed on Amare twice. The only GM to do that. Took Skita at #4 based solely only what his scouts told him. Never actually saw Skita play in person.

-When he had plenty of cap room, he signed Andre Miller at $55M instead of making a bigger offer to Gilbert Arenas. I think he actually offered Gilbert less than that.

He still did a good job overall rebuilding, tho. Nugz are now a perennial playoff team.

I wouldn't be surprised if Skiles hasn't already been talked to. He lives in Bloomington. That could also mean he might have been talked to by IU as well.

Yeah I like what Kiki did early on.

But he really didn't impress me with the way he put that Nugget's team together overall.

He did great early on of clearing cap space and stuff but when he made the decisions to put together the team he didn't impress me much.

Andre Miller over Gilbert Arenas really isn't a big deal IMO. I think people underrate Miller. Sometimes i'd rather have Miller than Arenas to be honest.

The 02 draft was a pretty bad one overall. Really the only other players that were better than Nene/Skitta were Amare and Caron Butler. But I can't really fault Kiki for going with overseas players. They were at their peak around then. Give Kiki credit for trading Antonio McDyess for Camby and the rights to Nene.

I do sometimes wonder though what Kiki would have done had Pavel stayed in the 2003 draft. Would they still have taken Carmelo at number 3? IDK.

Miller has spent his entire career going back and forth between underrated and overrated. Right now, he's on the underrated side of things.

The big thing about the Gilbert-Miller comparison is that Gilbert just turned 26 and Miller is about to turn 32 in about a week.

I'd rather have Gilbert any day, even now considering his injury.
