Game Preview
The Pacers have another chance to reach the NBA Finals on Saturday night and this time, they will be at home. The New York Knicks extended the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals to a sixth game on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden with a 111-94 victory.
It was a rough night for the Pacers' offense, as Indiana was held under 100 points for the first time as playoffs. The Blue & Gold shot 40.5 percent from the field and committed 20 turnovers in Game 5. The Pacers' starting five combined for just 37 points in the loss, with only Pascal Siakam reaching double figures.

After recording a historic triple-double in Game 4, All-NBA point guard Tyrese Haliburton had just eight points and six assists and attempted only seven shots in Game 5. Haliburton said the Knicks changed some things up defensively to force the ball out of his hands, but also promised that we would bounce back in Game 6.
"Iโve got to be better setting the tone, getting downhill," Haliburton said. "I feel like I didnโt do a great job of that, but Iโll watch the film. They did some different stuff defensivelyโฆIโve got to be better and Iโll be better in Game 6."
The Pacers have proven to be resilient all season. They haven't lost back-to-back games since March 10 and have won their last 10 games after losing by double digits, a streak that goes all the way back to early December.
"I just think that all year weโve been an amazing team at bouncing back," Siakam said after Game 5. "Our strength has been just being together, fighting hard together, staying together no matter what...Weโre up 3-2 in the series and we have an opportunity to go back home and show what weโre made of. I have no doubt in my teammates. I have so much faith in them."
If they can figure out a way to bounce back on Saturday, the Pacers would reach the NBA Finals for just the second time in franchise history. The Oklahoma City Thunder await the Eastern Conference champions in the Finals. If the Knicks were to win Saturday, it would force a winner-take-all Game 7 on Monday night at Madison Square Garden.
