Well, game 5 tomorrow, letโ€™s see if he rises to the occasion. Perfect opportunity to show his worth in a pressure situation. There were times I was really frustrated with him this series, but he has grabbed key rebounds and hit key shots as well in an otherwise tight game. That said, he has not stood out in a way that some of our other players have.
Peck is basically omniscient when it comes to understanding how the minds of Herb Simon and Kevin Pritchard work. I was a fool to ever question him and now feel deep shame for not understanding that this team believes in continuity above talent.

Never forget today when thinking about giving him a big contract, he is a** and is going to cost Pacers a championship.

To be fair, all of our starters were *** tonight except Siakam was halfway decent.

The only way Iโ€™d pony up at this point is if he absolutely carries the Pacers next game. If he wants that level money, he cannot be so dependent on his teammates to make him good. He was a baby deer learning to walk tonight.

Turner has been terrible this series but how is he supposed to defend if Karl is allowed to use his off hand to clear space on every drive?

To those who think we should not sign Turner to a $30 million per year contract, what alternatives do we have? And if you suggest moving Topping or Nesmith, keep in mind our strength has been our depth
"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

I'm to the point where if we could get Turner on a 2 year 55 deal I'd say do it. There aren't any obtainable free agent centers that should start. Jax has the body of a tall 3 without the skillset so even if he fully recovers I don't want him at the 5. The only alternative I see is to package Nembhard with perhaps a signed and traded Jax and a first for Mark Williams or similar player. Depth is great but we have too many under sized wings. The team worked with Walker to develop him as a 3 and I'd like to see him get more minutes. Of our under sized wings Nembhard and Sheppard are the most expendable.
Why do teams tank? Ask a Spurs fan.

I rather drop Turner and pay that to Sabonis in a HEARTBEAT

Sabonis is earning about $46 million. Turner is asking for $30 million

also if you think our defense is bad now, wait until we replace Turner with Sabonis

11 points and 2 rebounds while getting benched, you are doing crack at this point if you think he is worth more than 20mil.
