Can’t speak for the players but I’ve certainly tuned out. Nothing to be excited about this season. Boring and bad basketball.
my thoughts are the same now as they were when I posted in the preseason predictions thread…. This team will struggle to win 40 games and will be fighting for a play in spot come May.
It was easy to see during the 4 preseason games that something wasn’t right with this group, something had changed or it was just different. Same horrid defense, same poor rebounding just more turnovers at a slower pace. I’m not saying the Pacers are the worst team in the league, but I will say that even the worst teams don’t have any fear of this squad.

We're as good as the Portland Trailblazers, a team that is actively playing youth and rebuilding. We're supposed to be contenders. We stink, and I don't particularly care. Clearly, the players don't either with these sorry efforts. Can't expect the fan base to rally behind them when they aren't even willing to rally behind themselves.Peck is basically omniscient when it comes to understanding how the minds of Herb Simon and Kevin Pritchard work. I was a fool to ever question him and now feel deep shame for not understanding that this team believes in continuity above talent.Comment
