Nothing is really working right now. Did Tyrese have a better game than the previous 2? Yes, for awhile. However he was kind of non existent in the 4th but I'm not sure how much of that was his fault, Orlando's defense or our very odd offensive scheme.

Rebounding was by the numbers improved and we only lost the overall rebounding by 2 but sometimes the numbers don't tell the story. It just felt like whenever there was a rebound we needed we couldn't get it. But it was nice to see both Haliburton and Jackson making some headway in that department.

Is there a single person alive who actually feels confident in our ability to beat the Celtics on Wednesday?

This team looks confused down the stretch. I see any iso play starting and I know it's gonna conclude in a turnover or a terrible shot.

Other than that, same old stuff from last year. Weak defensive backcourt, no rebounding, etc

It's weird... and odd... It's as if the team went from last year's read and react , free-flowing offense where Tyrese WAS the floor general and did 90% of the decision/play making on the floor...... into ... something I don't recognize... It's as if there's either too many playmakers trying to be a floor general instead of Tyrese ... or Rick put in more traditional structured plays into the offense .... I dont know, maybe they are just going through the opening season 10 game adjusting to each other and their own game again?

What an effective way to take the air out of fans sails. Hard to be invested in a team that isn’t invested in itself.
Peck is basically omniscient when it comes to understanding how the minds of Herb Simon and Kevin Pritchard work. I was a fool to ever question him and now feel deep shame for not understanding that this team believes in continuity above talent.

Nembhard running the point over haliburton down the stretch is weird.

Mathurin not getting in the game even during scoring draughts is weird.

TJM getting squeezed out of the rotation tonight (a disastrous 5 mins not withstanding) is weird.

Failing to secure mind bogglingly simple defensive rebounds at crucial moments is par, as are crunch time TOs and missed free throws (this season so far).

A real mix of the self inflicted and age old flaws.

Being bad at rebounding is very old at this point. Going through all the Turner and Hibbert years is annoying. Been wishing we would get a Drummond or hell a Deandre Jordan type center for awhile now. Could careless if they can shoot a 30 percent three lol

I understand why those seem weird, but I don't think they are. Haliburton has not been playing well and has been careless with the ball, so it makes sense to run him as an off-ball threat. And Mathurin has been absolutely scorched on defense. He wasn't as bad as he was against the 76ers, but I understand why they left him out.

I am tired of players getting big numbers on us. We offered no resistance on Banchero's first several shots, and then he was in a rhythm and it was too late. I love Nesmith, but he is pretty overrated as a defender and cannot guard players that are bigger than him. And frankly he shouldn't be expected to guard Banchero. What does it take to get Jarace some real minutes? Incriminating photos?

A lot of what we've seen is what caused Luka and Brunson to sour on Rick in Dallas and eventually led to the end of his tenure there, just sayin

This is the same Rick that played Jalen Brunson only ten minutes in a bad game 7 loss in the 2021 playoffs before getting fired by the Mavs. He's stubborn AF.

Nesmith needs to stop fouling so much. Just being overly aggressive. However, he definitely got elbowed in the face a couple of times by Banchero which they didn't call. But they chose to call it on Siakam early in the game.

Mathurin didn't get in the 2nd half until the 4th quarter. Stop this nonsense.

Also, I was wrong (surprisingly) about Banchero. He is a beast
