Another game that we just stopped playing in the end. Could have won it, but just didn't want it enough. We need some type of change in the team roster.
Of course, it doesn't help when the coach doesn't play the players that deserve to play.

Seriously. Can we get some minutes to Graham, Owens, Ike, and Shawne (consistent ones, anyway)? What do we have to lose?

It was a good game and the guys really played hard. There's just never a great individual or team balance of taking the ball to the basket and drawing fouls.

If this were how we played every team better than us, I'd be cool with losing to get the better draft pick. But they played hard, but Pierce is just an incredible fourth quarter player. Shawne is still a conundrum on offense. The more I see Danny play, the more I think we need to keep the guy; he's still getting better and understanding his roles in different spots on the court. Portland should be begging us for him. Troy looks awkward on drives. Quis can look too girly. That is all.

atleast we are losing to teams that are worth a damn...I think we are playing better lately. Need to continue this after the all star break and make a run for that 8th spot. This boston team doesnt scare me with a healthy tinman and JO. They remind me of the patriots...lotta wins but will choke when it comes down to it!

If only games were 45 minutes long or less. We'd be undefeated.

This Boston team just beat us on our home floor without their best player.

Mark my words; if we play Boston or Detroit in the first round, we will lose in five games AT BEST. It'd likely be a sweep.

Lol, you're right Shade, on both comments.. We are good for about half the game in different parts of the game.. Which often doesn't cut it in a 48 min. game.. And ya, I don't think Boston is that tough of a team, just like the Pats, but I still think we have no chance of beating them.. We have a better chance to beat them if we don't have JO. I say the best team in the League is the Lakers.. Think about it.. 2 dominant low post players. One very versatile and big Forward that can shoot.. And the best scorer/clutch shooter in the league.

I agree with most of you and I am NEVER one to blame officiating, but how sickening is it to watch Pierce get every call when he comes within five feet of the basket. Daniels did a nice job of drawing a foul when we were down three with about a minute left and it of course was a no call. I know we don't have any "superstar" type players on our roster, but I expect that call when we are at home. We still had our chances and we still lack that killer instict down the stretch, but I expect a little help when we are the home team.

On a related note, we were completely out fanned tonight by a bunch of bandwagon Celtics fans. That makes me sick. I remember going to see the C's last year and there was maybe a 1/10 of the fans there were this year. I hate fans who only root on their team when their winning.

Their defense is significantly better with KG on the floor.

KG has the best PER rating in the league. He's not just a washed up big name guy..

As long as they don't touch that 72-10 record, I don't care how many wins they get.
I think KP is a Captain Planet fan. He believes that the collective will of five decent starters can outweigh the power of top-level talent. Too bad Herb won't cut the check for their Planeteer rings.

                              Sorry, what's 72-10?

Is that the best record ever?
