I just can't make this vote because I have no idea how much of a free hand KP has had with the team vs having to run everything by Herb Simon. I've heard from both the star beat writer at the time and a few radio/podcast guys that KP wanted to tear the team down and rebuild when PG demanded out and Herb would not let him. So I don't know who to blame for all of those years of trying to tread being a mediocre team with no real star.
I would have to say overall his tenure isn't great no matter who was in charge of what. Our drafting has been basically horrendous up until last season and well let's not kid ourselves we have had a total of 3 playoff wins in his entire tenure here and those were all in one season, we haven't even made the playoffs in the past few years. Are we more exciting than we were a couple of years ago? Beyond a shadow of a doubt, but until playoff success arrives I don't see how anything can be considered a success.

I am between thumbs up and neutral so must round up. He has a squad under him doing most of the "heavy lifting" so they all share responsibility. I feel they're doing better and going in the right direction. Am not about to diss on them and want them to feel encouraged to keep up the good work.Last edited by RamBo_Lamar; 09-17-2023, 09:03 PM.Comment

i have given kp thumbs up. however, i wonder how much of this is due to Carlise. specifically drafting. i give thumbs up to KP cause have no doubt he brought the next cornerstone to the frachise in hali.
that alone thumbs up.Comment

i agree. i dont want to necessarily defend kp. but he has navigated well with must trades like PG and Dipo. the drafting has been awful. i am hopeful carlise is calling shots feel more comfort.
we never really got a good look with what kp put together post PG deal. alas Brogdon, Dipo, Warren*, Sabonis, Turner. the sabonis deal landing hali is undoubtdly franchise changer and i like many loved sabonis. hali is a cornerstone
