    Kevin Porter Jr

Apparently the Rockets are trying to trade him after his recent troubles. Would it be worth while take Porter and Whitmore?

Porter recently signed a long term contract. After this year, its basically unguaranteed. I am not willing to have Porter around our team. I would ask him to stay home

Perhaps Buddy for Porter, Whitmore and Eason or Sengun?

What if we just let him sit at home? His contract is non-guaranteed https://www.spotrac.com/nba/houston-...rter-jr-31589/

I can now see why the Cavs traded him to Houston for a 2nd rounder (top 55 protected lol)

Even if he is automatically released (which he would be) the Pacers are not the team that would make that trade. The victim of the assault was drafted by the Indiana Fever. Trading for Porter, (even if it is to get other assets) would be a massive slap in the face to the Fever, which might not be important to some, but it surely is to the Pacers organization.

I think you ignore Porter since you're waiving him. Houston has said they want a player to help them next season and would give up picks in the process. I'd move Buddy for their own 1st next year
Why do teams tank? Ask a Spurs fan.

They can’t trade their first next year. I believe OKC has rights to their pick

No team is going to trade for that guy. He'll be lucky if he ever plays in the league again.
