Eastern Conference Finals: (2) Boston vs (8) Miami

For the 3rd time in the last 4 years, with each team winning once, the two perennial eastern powers find a way to meet again.

I don't think there's as much drama this time around. The Celtics fell asleep in the bubble and nearly blew it again a year ago, but I think Miami has their full attention now. They have way too much firepower for the Heat, unless Tyler Herro can make a comeback. Even if he does, I think the Celtics are still better. Their defense will have to make up the difference.

Fun fact: the only other time we had an 8 seed and a 2 seed in the conference finals, the 8 seed moved on. I don't think that happens this time around.

    Prediction: in 6

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I think this is lite work for Boston. I want to say sweep but Boston in 5. Denver and Boston match up well.
Why do teams tank? Ask a Spurs fan.

Celtics in 6 and they will face the Lakers.

Reinforcing the NBA is rigged conspiracy theories.

I don't want the Celtics to make it to the NBA finals, but don't really like anyone on the Heat.

So, I will choose the lesser of 2 evils and hope that both teams get lost on their way to the arena, for 7 straight games.

It will be a dog fight.

Spo will out coach the rookie. Tatum and Brown will be defended with better strategery than Doc ever thought of. Butler will man up as usual.

                  Heat in six.

This is setting up for an NBA finals that I’m not going to watch between Lakers/Celtics.

                        So Celtics in 3.

Praying for Nuggets to get to finals. I will not watch one second of a Lakers Celtics finals for the 14,000 time it’s happened. Heat don’t stand a chance against this Celtics team.
