    Jalen Smith

How much size do you think he can put on & remain functional?

The guy appears to be our most physical player, but obviously size is a limiting factor. He has some really good strength, he did pretty solid versus Embiid & could actually cope (to a point) with his size & does a better job at it than Turner.

Embiid is a LARGE human. It is difficult for one individual to guard him 1 on 1. You have to be able to double team him in certain situations and learn not to foul him. The Pacers offense is the type of offense you need to beat Philly by running his *** into the ground. The Pacers problem at the center position is they don't have ANYONE that strong and coordinated like Bam or Horford. Embiid is averaging 33.2 points a game this season. Guarding him isn't just a Pacer problem, he is just that damn good.

I just like the finesse Turner plays with & thinking can Smith be that change of pace/more physical guy in the 2nd unit.

I like Smith in the second as well. He fits better than with the starting unit.

I like Jalen. He has shown a lot of improvement this season. Especially in the spacial awareness/BBIQ side of things. Early in the season, you could count on multiple brain lock moments where he didn't seem to know what he should do or an inability to see what was going on on the floor. He still has them, but they are isolated moments.

His 3pt shooting still sucks. He will have to improve that big time if he plans on playing rotation minutes long term.
