Well I'll just let v handle this one…

I might just be chomping down on the bait here, but are there people that seriously think Turner is better? There certainly aren’t outside PD

Myles doesn’t deserve the hate he gets from some, but let’s get real here…

Maybe adding a couple decent-very good vets, but not sacrificing a ton of future assets for them.

I think one of the worst things we could do is put together a team that could Maybe compete for an ECF, whose peak will likely be ending around the time Hali's max would be coming to an end, as he'll obviously be an UFA. I think a slowish build, with a pinch of tanking (this year c'mon FO), is the best way to do this thing.
We still have the remainder of Haliburton's contract plus 4-5 years on his next contract. The least of our worries will be making an ECFs during that 7-8 years. We're missing 3-4 players we'd need to add to a much improved Haliburton and Mathurin to get there one of which needs to be an all nba talent. Unless this team wakes up and trys to build through the draft we won't ever see an ecf with Hali. I agree with you but I fear our F.O. will be giving up picks for someone like Collins or OG that won't move the needle past play in tournament.

Pacers have to be careful not to pull a Pacers 4 times on a row.

It all depends on how the team spends money, asset management, and who becomes available in the next few years as far as star players are concerned. All three are connected.

If not mistaken, starting 2 all-star games triggers these raises also.

Tieing player salaries to these awards seems like bs to me, but that's a whole other topic.

That’s the innocence every player got until they have to deal with the same bs for many years.

PG, Dipo and Sabonis got tired of the bs
