I believe the tiebraker is only for playoff seeding and we probably don't need to worry about that. Tiebreaker for draft seeding used to be a coin flip. I don't know how they do it now.

somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

An Orlando win tonight would've been huge!

I honestly hope that it the Pacers don't win the lottery, it's not a team behind them that wins. If it's one of the worst 3 teams, I can sleep better at night.

Tank gods were good to us tonight. Boston/Cleveland Ls...Wizards W...both Mitchell and Garland tweaked their ankles in the 4th quarter too. I bet at least Mitchell's keeps him out a couple of games. If I were to guess right now, I'd say the Cavs pick will end up being 24. Not bad considering our own pick was low 20s before Hali went down.

Schedule's lining up really nice for the Magic to pass us. They have 2 easy games coming up against Washington and Detroit, then b2b home games against what's likely to be a Cavs team resting players the last week of the season. The way they've been playing, they should win at least a few more unless they decide to start tanking.

On the other hand I'm not very confident about the Houston pick. Spurs will probably need to win a couple more for us.

Don't we get the Houston pick regardless of where it lands in the second round?
Why do teams tank? Ask a Spurs fan.

I believe it goes to Boston if it is 33+

Tbh I still don't fully understand that deal but no. If it doesn't land at 31 or 32 we won't get it.

No. If it doesn't land 31 or 32 the Pacers will get the worse pick of either Dallas's second rounder or Miami's. So it is likely going to either be Houston's or Miami's.

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...
