Warriors looking to get one back from the Pacers and they might.
Game Preview
A little over a week ago, the Pacers knocked off the defending champs on their home court. On Wednesday, Indiana (14-14) will go for the season sweep when they host Steph Curry and the Warriors (14-14) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Blue & Gold will be hoping to close out their four-game homestand on a winning note, after dropping close decisions to Brooklyn and Miami in their past two contests. There were different issues over those two nights, as the Pacers surrendered 136 points and 29 offensive rebounds against the Nets, then were limited to a season-low 82 points by the Heat.
Those results notwithstanding, Indiana will enter Wednesday's contest with confidence having already beaten the Warriors barely a week earlier. The Pacers were actually undermanned for that game in San Francisco, playing without starters Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner as well as backup point guard T.J. McConnell, but still managed to find a way to win, thanks in part to a career night by rookie guard Andrew Nembhard.
Haliburton, Turner, and McConnell are all back and should offer Indiana reinforcements for the rematch. The Pacers' biggest focus will remain on the defensive end as they contend with the Warriors' high-octane offensive attack.
While Klay Thompson got hot for Golden State last week, making eight 3-pointers, the Pacers did an exceptional job on his fellow "Splash Brother" Curry. The two-time MVP entered last Monday's contest fourth in the NBA in scoring at 30.8 points per game, but the Pacers limited him to a season-low 12 points on 3-of-17 shooting (2-of-10 from 3-point range).

Last Meeting
Dec. 5, 2022: With Tyrese Haliburton and T.J. McConnell both sidelined, rookie point guard Andrew Nembhard was simply brilliant, tallying 31 points, 13 assists, and eight rebounds to lead undermanned Indiana to a 112-104 victory at Golden State.
One week to the day after hitting a buzzer-beating three to stun LeBron James and the Lakers, Nembhard put together the most complete game of his career against Steph Curry and the Warriors. The 22-year-old Canadian went 13-for-21 from the field and 5-for-7 from 3-point range in 41 minutes.
"I mean the team has so (many) giving guys that want to give confidence to other guys," Nembhard said. "They had super confidence in me, the coaching staff had super confidence in me. Then we just wanted to kind of stick together down the stretch and I think it was just a good team win all together, and I ended up hitting some shots that were big."
Buddy Hield finished with 17 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in the victory. Jalen Smith added 15 points, nine boards, and three blocks and three other Pacers reached double figures.
Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 28 points, going 8-for-16 from long range. Jordan Poole added 23 points, five boards, and four assists.
Stephen Curry, who entered the night fourth in the NBA in scoring at 30.8 points per game, managed just 12 points on 3-of-17 shooting (2-of-10 from 3-point range).
