    So Duarte, Mathurin and Nembhard are nothing good?

    your love affair of Domasโ€ฆ go be a Kings fan. His defense was lacking and it was a win-win. Hali is a huge addition to the team and the only way to get him was to give up Sabonis, that roster cleared redundancy for both teams

    we need better play at the 3 and 4 which will come through the draft (very deep this year) and/or development

    KP has done extremely well playing the hands he has been given. Not all organizations or owners are as patient as others. Look at his trade record and tell me which werenโ€™t good or a win for the Ps

      No executive whose team has won exactly 0 playoff games in 4 years, while trying to "win now", can ever be considered a good executive. Judging strictly based on results here. The target should be 16. That's 0 out of 16, for 4 years in a row.

        Mathurin = Homerun
        Nembhard = (for position of draft) at least 3rd base
        Duarte = wait and see

        The nonsensical argument that Domas was/is a bad defender is one carried by some, however not only did he defend better than our DPOY and he does so now too, whilst being statistically one of the better defender in the NBA. so that is what it is; nonsense
        I understand the trade, and will agree that there was no way on earth that Kings would have let Haliburton go for Turner, even IF we took Buddy, so no need to create false arguments, only if you want to indicate that they WOULD have taken Turner by making Domas more flawed than he is, that will become a valid argument.
        There is no redundancy of a player of Hali's quality nor Domas, Redundant players would be Turner, Goga, Jackson(though he more of a project) and I can think of a few others on our roster that can easily be replaced (redundant = not or no longer needed or useful; superfluous) but Domas wasn't nor was Haliburton.

        You prefer Turner, that is your prerogative, no need for strawman arguments there.

        My opinion is that Myles is hard to stomach and definitely not the player we hoped he could become, in order to up his average score he was made the focus of the offense, and promptly stopped defending all together (whilst I maintain he never was able to stay in front of his man) By the "block" matrix Jackson is an even better defender than Turner!

        "fans" are allowed an opinion not equal to yours, or do you want to tell me to go be a Kings fan as well?
        So Long And Thanks For All The Fish.

          KP had an idea that Domas was not a star....Kings valued him as one...build a team around him...and look at the purple beam now....home court this year and...CONTENDERS next season....and if you resign Turner you're are doomed until Herb is dead.

            thanks for drawing the line where you did. wouldnโ€™t want the conference finals appearances by the pacers in 2013 and 2014 to screw up your argument

            Yea, this sure makes the Pacers look like the franchise to envy. Take off the nostalgia glasses and return to reality.

              Pacers have to find a way to keep Caitlin Cooper writing about the Pacers. Get it ****ing done PS&E.

                Kings will never be serious contenders. Super fun though.

                    There's no way. You have to be in top 5 of fan voting to have any shot and realistically the top 3. And there's no way Haliburton got even close to that. Even if the media and players vote him as a starter, it won't be enough.

                      So RC Buford....?

                      As the NBA season winds down, it becomes more and more clear which teams are headed for the draft lottery. To many of these clubs, "tanking" for a better pick may look like the most appealing course of action...
