    Fire Rick Carlisle!

The narrative last year was that Bjorkgren underachieved with a roster that was built to "win now." Bjorkgren lost his job and was replaced by Carlisle because he could win with this roster. After a 4-8 start, it's obvious Carlisle cannot win with this roster built to "win now." Because he cannot win, and has arguably been worse than Bjorkgren in coaching this team, and also because we cannot bear Washington without Beal or Denver without Jokic, we should fire Carlisle.

Seems like hiring Rick was a lazy hire. Just find the biggest name that's out there, and hire that coach. Why waste time having an extended coaching search when you have a coach available that won a title a decade ago? Who cares that he hasn't won anything over the last decade.

Never too early to admit you made a bad hire. Fire Rick Carlisle and find someone that can win some friggin games.

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...

Of course, I disagree with this post. Nevertheless, if you're 4-8, it is PD tradition and protocol to start such a thread. There is a simple way to see them go away.

Aren't some of these the same people who think we should be tanking? Wasn't freedom to experiment with the lineup instead of leaning on the top veterans part of what has been complained about for years?

I mean, we're beginning to see people complain because Rick Carlisle is playing a rookie too much, is mixing up the bench rotation too much, is not swapping players out on a predictable basis, and isn't calling enough plays.

Oh, I agree with all your points. (Except I think the tankers are fine with whoever is coach. It's the ones deluded into thinking we can be really good whose expectations have been crashed and are calling for his head.)

But, heck, if the record is in the ditch, the front man is expected to take a beating. Comes with the territory.

I think Rick will right the ship eventually. But I'm not sure he can do it with this steaming pile of garbage he has to work with. Fire KP!

There is not a coach in the NBA that could make up for the health issues on this team. Bjorkgren was not fired because the team sucked, he was fired because he was not able to control the locker room.

Hate to burst your bubble, but no coach is winning with this roster.
