Opposing starting point guards have scored 65 points in 2 games
Opposing back up point guards have scored 32 points in 2 games.

Anyone else think perimeter defense might be an issue?

We have nobody with a killer mentality. This is why guys like Lance and Ron and Dale are invaluable to franchises. We have no dogs on this team.

Lance would have perfect tonight on those plays where they had to sub in Lamb for McConnell.

A recurring theme. Defense is why the Pacers lose mainly. Wizards shot 3's at crazy percentage

KCP fell out of bounds flopping without being touched - a simple challenge and bald Rick couldn’t figure it out. What a dolt!

I like that his teammates and Carlisle has enough confidence in him to give a rookie the chance to take that shot.

Lamb is coming off an injury and we should expect him to be rusty. Having said that, he should only be playing 15-20 mpg until he knocks the rust off.

We need a clutch player and another starter. Neither Holiday or Lamb should be starting or playing down the stretch. I know Carlisle doesn’t have much to choose from withLeVert and Warren out, but he needs to find an effective combination. This is only the second game of the season so it’s too early to panic. I was pleased to see Brissett get on the floor even though he didn’t play very well. We got to experiment with our bench and see if anyone steps up.

Twin towers effect. We cannot gaurd the perimeter w these two. opposing teams just lick their chops. Impossible to defend if Sabonis is out their w Turner. Sabonis is worse at d than Kanter. What an over rated player. Trade him for the love of Christ so we can win.

I agree. Glad he took it and glad they let him. But I posted this in light of last game where everyone was calling for him to take the last shot.
