13th - 3pt field goal percentage
19th - 2pt field goal percentage

Davis did acknowledge, however, that Westbrook seemed to be searching for a version of his game that he displayed in past stops with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets and Wizards -- a version L.A. wasn't asking for.

"We necessarily didn't need that this year," Davis said. "When I got here, I didn't play the same way I played with Bron. Bron had to change; everybody had to change. Everybody had to make sacrifices. It was tough for [Westbrook] to adjust to that."

I love the local media picking up on the Westbrook thing like its anything more than LA planting stories trying to pretend their guy has value. Real talk how many unprotected firsts have to come along before this is even an actual conversation? '27, '29, and '31 unprotected along with '28 and '30 swaps? Still not sure that gets it done and what a weird way to rebuild a franchise. Plus I guess we get that sweet sweet cap space in '23 which as we know the Pacers are masters of utilizing.

Tell LA to get some assets and then we can talk, but until then the fact this is making the rounds is dumb.

What about it? why are people always acting like players didn't have great seasons next to Westbrook?

Durant got the MPV next to Westbrook, PG had his best season ever next to RW, Dipo had a great season next to him, Adams was never the same without him, Lebron almost won the scoring championship this year, Bradley Beal was all NBA last year, etc, etc , etc.


Pretending that Westbrook is going to stop Hali from growing is ridiculous and ignorant.

This whole notion of Westbrook to the Pacers is just laughable beyond....the most blatant perpetuating of a pipedream from Lakerland its not even funny....tooooooo obvious...cmon man..

now if you could find some other team stupid enough to be interested in Westbrook, then a 3 way may be possible because getting rid of Brogdon and Hield is definitely a priority and i could definitely see LA wanting the two of them...and turning Westbrook into the two of them would be magical and executive of the year type stuff...but i have serious doubts about too many being interested, let alone be willing to pay something that might make sense to the Pacers...

I don't think people realize how screwed the Lakers are right now. If they were smart they'd be pawning off their players this summer and starting a rebuild.

You do it for the 2027 and 2029 first round picks. The hope is we have two first rounders from this year, another high pick next year, and then use the expiring 43 million contract to get additional assets in a strong FA market. We can stash the 2 future 1st round picks, or package them to move up higher now to another team like OKC.

I would be fine with UNPROTECTED far future 1st rounders in exchange for a couple players from the Pacers.

In reality I want Westbrook to go to a contender, I don't want him to waste his talents on a losing team like Pacers.

By definition, any team Westbrook goes to won't be contending, cause they're paying 43million for Westbrook to eat up all the usage and miss shots.
