If we're going to talk about Westbrook's LA Team Stats, then I think you should also mention the following:
    13th - 3pt field goal percentage
    19th - 2pt field goal percentage
    17th - eFG%
    1st - turnovers

And if Russ was brought in to be the 3rd option, then this just clearly shows what he's got no idea of a TEAM concept and trying to make those around him better. Here's a little more insight from someone that knows more than we do about hoops:

Anthony Davis still believes in pairing with LeBron James, says they will have conversation on 'what changed' (espn.com)

So yeah - Russ knows 1 way to play. For Russ. Doesn't GAF about the team or teammates - as long as he gets his - that's all that matters. But you go ahead and worship him. Nobody else in the league does.
Quoting AD to try to make a point?

I mean your not necessarily wrong, but I would not listen to Anthony (1 game played 10 games off) Davis talk about anything anyone else was doing. I still have no idea how this man made the 75 greatest of all time.

Davis did acknowledge, however, that Westbrook seemed to be searching for a version of his game that he displayed in past stops with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets and Wizards -- a version L.A. wasn't asking for.

"We necessarily didn't need that this year," Davis said. "When I got here, I didn't play the same way I played with Bron. Bron had to change; everybody had to change. Everybody had to make sacrifices. It was tough for [Westbrook] to adjust to that."

I love the local media picking up on the Westbrook thing like its anything more than LA planting stories trying to pretend their guy has value. Real talk how many unprotected firsts have to come along before this is even an actual conversation? '27, '29, and '31 unprotected along with '28 and '30 swaps? Still not sure that gets it done and what a weird way to rebuild a franchise. Plus I guess we get that sweet sweet cap space in '23 which as we know the Pacers are masters of utilizing.

Tell LA to get some assets and then we can talk, but until then the fact this is making the rounds is dumb.

Pretending that Westbrook is going to stop Hali from growing is ridiculous and ignorant.
    uh no...

pretending that somehow Westbrook wouldnt stunt Hali's development and growth is ridiculous and ignorant...especially after watching Hali with Brogdon....you disappoint me V....must be blinded by some sort of love for player, etc...

This whole notion of Westbrook to the Pacers is just laughable beyond....the most blatant perpetuating of a pipedream from Lakerland its not even funny....tooooooo obvious...cmon man..

    never in a million years...

now if you could find some other team stupid enough to be interested in Westbrook, then a 3 way may be possible because getting rid of Brogdon and Hield is definitely a priority and i could definitely see LA wanting the two of them...and turning Westbrook into the two of them would be magical and executive of the year type stuff...but i have serious doubts about too many being interested, let alone be willing to pay something that might make sense to the Pacers...

Aren't you the same guy crapping on Brogdon because he is always injured and never plays?

Stop trying to have it both ways.

I don't think people realize how screwed the Lakers are right now. If they were smart they'd be pawning off their players this summer and starting a rebuild.

We can stash the 2 future 1st round picks, or package them to move up higher now to another team like OKC.
I would be fine with UNPROTECTED far future 1st rounders in exchange for a couple players from the Pacers.

By definition, any team Westbrook goes to won't be contending, cause they're paying 43million for Westbrook to eat up all the usage and miss shots.
