Um, I would support a change of the starting line-up, especially if it involved people not on our roster.

That aside, I think O'Brien should still be experimenting with our lineup. It should take a new coach some time to get the mix right.

I don't think it's the starting lineup that needs changing. The 1st qrt hasn't been the team's downfall. It's been the 3rd qtr!!

I think JOB should consider going with the same players who played the majority of the 2nd qtr and let them start the 2nd half! Something needs to happen to get this team over their 3rd qtr meltdowns.

The starters are playing the best, so no. The only swap that seems to be OK is Murphy for Foster, but even then whomever doesn't start will be coming right in for the other, so both get their time.

Past that there's no point; it's the bench that's flopping first, then our starters sink a bit in the second half.

I agree with Mal, The starters are doing fairly well things tend to fall apart when the bench comes in especially when Daniels is not playing and with Ike injured.

I have a question. Sorry I did not get on here sooner but my home computer is giving me fits.

Why did Obie take Jamaal out after Jamaal had a steal three three's and a couple of twos. Did I miss something. I know his guy scored on him but every other player was getting burned.

Who cares there were two minutes left and every shot they hit in the previous 4 minutes was either a Jamaal shot or a shot that he got an assist on. The ONLY big stop they got was his steal. I don't care if he had been in the entire game you leave him in for the last two minutes. Did anyone notice thats when they completely collapsed?

I think changing that starting lineup, except for possibly the center position for matchup purposes, is a BAD idea.

They took Jamaal Out cause he isn't a 3 pt threat as much as diener is. He had just gotten burned by not guarding calderon and that was the dagger.

Never mind that he had hit three three pointers in that quarter. And putting Diener in because you don't think Jamaal is a good enough defender is possibly the most crazy thing I have ever heard. The ONLY stop we got late in the game was from Jamaal.

I do think changing the lineup would be ok. I missed the very start last night but if Troy is still starting he should not be.

Seriously? Troy had a GREAT game last night. He shot 70% from the field 75% from 3 had 20 points 7 rebounds and only played 26 minutes. I can see scapegoating a guy when he plays bad, but scapegoating him after a performance like that is just wrong.

I agree. Granger and Dun had rough games last night and you can't like JO's turnovers, but the fact is that Diener, Rush, Shawne and Harrison are playing their way out of the rotation, and prior to last night so was Troy.

You factor that in with no Ike or Quis, there is just no depth. And that probably bleeds into the starters considering this system is about lots of energy and therefore lots of roster depth. The bench was the big problem last year according to 82Games.com 5 man +/-. What changed really?

Ultimately they need a true starting SG so Dun would be 6th man and Quis (healthy) would be 7th with Troy/Foster at 8th. Then you sprinkle some PT to Shawne OR Rush OR Diener as needed and per who is hot at the time.

Anyone know where we can get a Joe Johnson type on the cheap?

well until a couple of games ago it looked like anthony parker could be had, he was slumping a bit but unfortunately he's snapped out of it (as we witnessed last night)

I only saw the second half.

And I saw little to no movement from Danny and Dun and others, unlike what you guys saw in the first half.

What confuses me is this: shouldn't they be all revved up after a 20 minute rest?
