Ya, I like this signing, he's a good player. He's not a star, but he plays the right way, can really shoot it deep, plays good D, good solid all-around player. I think he'll mesh real well with these guys.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

Noooo!! That thing bouncing around on his neck while he shoots has to be a distraction !!

Seriously though, I’m curious why some players choose to wear them. I hope it’s for a reason other than just cosmetics.

It absorbs sweat and if a player has longer hair (like Myles, Jrue and Matthews have) it keeps the hair from getting in their eyes and impacting their vision. I've never been big on headbands but I understand why some people go for them.

This thread has taken a strange turn. But yes, this is exactly the reason why I wear a headband when I go for a run and play basketball. My forehead sweats enough that the sweat gets into my eyes.

In terms of watching Basketball, I can tell you that the only way that I can figure out where Holiday is on the floor is to look for the small dude with the headband. I often get him and Collison mixed up.

Oh, same here. Headbands and sleeves are also how I tell players, especially when I'm watching a team that I don't follow closely.

When the camera is showing the whole court it is very difficult to tell Collison from Aaron but Aaron moves slightly different than Collison
And the number 3 on the jersey helps some too.....

I know why players wear headbands guys .

I’m specifically talking about the new samurai headband. It seems silly to me, but there’s probably a good reason they wear it instead of the normal ones.

                    When is this becoming official?
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

Oh, you were asking why the samurai over the normal headbands? Who knows? They certainly do look cooler, though.

Another good breakdown of Wes’ley’s gm...

Anybody know why we haven’t heard anything about his buyout?

Ignoring that I don't know which number players use, I can barely make out words much less numbers on the screen now.

His buyout isn't official until he clears waivers. Just in case there's some team out there that wants to pay him the remainder of his $18M. But I think he should clear waivers this evening.

                              Update!

So this could potentially be a bad sign about him signing with us?
