Would have been nice to tell us that BEFORE the draft, so we could take advantage of that and draft accordingly like SIG.....

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Oh believe me, I was sweating my balls off when they starting talking about putting it all in a SiimLeague.

Soup wasn't the only one that drafted that way. I don't think I have 2 guys that played a complete season. The only time injuries count are in the full season leagues.

Re: The Drafting Game Selection Thread

Kstat...I Wanted to run this in sim-league and tried everything that I could to get this into a sim league because I wanted injuries to be a factor in the game and reward folks who drafted like yourself, but unfortunatly, I made an error! I was under the impression that sim league would accept 7 teams, not just 6. Since that came up, I tried to figure a way with 3 leagues, but got stumped on the 3rd league because it would have to be nearly an open league. I had no way of "fairly" qualifying the remaining 2 teams that would have been in the 3rd league in a play-off. Also, a few already created their teams and are in open leagues already scuttling any hopes of this.

I appologize for the oversight! Doing this like we did it last year was not my first option, but now it is our only option. As for why didn't I tell anyone till now...I didn't know till last night!

well gee, I could fit an entire team of 20ppg+ scorers under the 42 million cap.

              Oh well.

I'm going to see if I can't change my rosters to take advantage of this.

It's a good thing Displaced Knick isn't in this league. He could only wish Ewing finished as well in real life as he does for my team.

I haven't been around for a while. I have not yet created and placed my team in a league...I'm at the page where you draft your team, and I have chosen the players. Please give me direction as to what I should do next. Thanks.

Re: The Drafting Game Selection Thread

After your players are chosen, just select if you want to be in an open league. It doesn't matter what league you are in as long as you have the sim-matchup option checked in the box.

After you end up in a league....choose the coaches tab and select your starting line-up and style of play. You should be ready for our tourney. I just need your team's name after you create it.

Re: The Drafting Game Selection Thread

My team has been getting absolutly hammered in pre-season action. I was especially kind to Magic Rat, letting him rack up win after win until I made some changes.

I've spent most of the night working on a line up, rotation & style of play. This is a lot different than last season where I just rolled out the ball & let my guys do their thing.

I still need team names for Able and IndyPacers 67 in the eastern conference.
In the West team names are still needed for Pig Nash and Woolus. As soon as Able and IndyPacers67 come in...games in the East will start!
