The first good news for the Pacers in a long time!
Did you know Antonio and Dale aren’t actually brothers?

So is this similar to the stretch provision?

Well there goes my thought of Monta having a break out Pacers year. Always put up big numbers on bad teams

Is it really a foregone conclusion that we will be bad? I'm must be missing something.

Figured the ship had long ago sailed on trading him, but assumed we'd go into the season and see if maybe an injury forced a team to get a backup replacement, or if a team was desperate for another bench scorer. At the very least, I thought we'd cut him late, like we did Stuckey, and just take the cap space next off-season.

Either way, the money we eat won't matter, and it'll be good to move on.
It's a new day for Pacers Basketball.
