Yes, obviously going to Cleveland because it is home was a huge appeal, but it doesn't happen unless Kyrie, or some other star is there.
So what you are saying is we should get the number one pick in the NBA draft twice?

I also think Durant was never going to happen. Wouldn't it make more sense for Durant to stand pat in OKC or finding a way to go to a team like the Spurs as opposed to coming over to the Pacers?
Yeah. You go for it. and if it fails, then so be it, but you have to go for moves that work that make your team win. Not largely lateral moves. (which in practical application will NOT be lateral because we just lost shooting and defense).

Or do we start a trade "rumor" thread for every Woj bomb...

No. I'm suggesting if you have Paul George on your team you have a serious shot to attract ANY free agent depending on their motives. That's basically the most no **** statement ever.

And how do you know if he goes to Cleveland if he wasn't from there? Kyrie is there in Cleveland because Lebron left. Same with Wiggins that got Love (mistake). And same with Tristan Thompson. You are suggesting that we can get a Durant just like Cleveland got Lebron. WHEN IN FACT THE MAJOR REASON CLEVELAND GOT LEBRON WAS BECAUSE OF HIS HISTORY WITH CLEVELAND.

And so that means we have the same shot as anyone but OKC and a Texas team.

I would have loved a Hill/Teague backcourt, but unfortunately we probably don't get Teague if we keep Hill.

I assume Teague wouldn't re-sign with them though.

In another thread talking about Conley, I mentioned his poor catch and shoot numbers compared to GHill. Well, Teague is exactly the opposite. Teague in catch and shoot situations shot 49.6% overall AND from 3. So Teague's off the ball shooting numbers are really encouraging if no moves were made and he had to split the ball handling duties with Monta.

You misunderstood. Genuinely don't know where I was supposed to put the Rose trade.

This thread used to be the trade thread.
