By this I mean that Reggie was never the best SG in the conference, Smits was never the best Center. On the other hand, for a few years, JO was the best PF in the conference.
Because saying Reggie wasn't as good as Michael Jordan means ... what? That's a pretty lame argument, that since Reggie wasn't better than a guy in the top 3 for GOAT then JO beats him.

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...

JO had the potential to be better than Reggie but he never really came that close.

Oh I cant go with you on that at all bro. Miller had killer instinct. JO never had that mind set. Reggie would eat your heart out of your chest to win. You cant teach a guy that mind set

More importantly for someone like PG who wants to knock on that door, other than Reggie we have never had a player on our team when we were down 10 with 2 minutes to go where we were absolutely still in the game. With Reggie on the floor it was not over until it was completely over, Reggie could and many times did shoot us to a win in the last two minutes.

So you are going on the record stating that considering MVP awards, All-NBA Honors, and All-star games into player comparisons is lame? Are you serious? Isn't that what most people use?

So we can only use stats when comparing George Mikan and Shaq? We can't take into consideration their competition?

I am assuming you are misunderstanding me or the other way around because that is insane.
