A game IU had to have... they got. A lot had to change and go right. A big part of that was some intensity, and purpose, that they lacked for a lot of the game. Onto the next one...Leave a comment:

and now, they seem to still have some fight left in them.
there's still time for bball's prophecy to ring true with a close, yet disappointing finish.Leave a comment:

This team will lose first round in the nit. They deserve it too.
since the first Purdue game, they've fallen to archie-level suckiness.Leave a comment:

I wonder how many flaws were hidden by an easier schedule until the wheels finally, once again, came off?
And Woodson hasn't exactly impressed me either. He brought some initial energy to the program, but this was a program that needed a coaching change, or some kind of sea change like a coaching change brings. And that "Knight's guy!" rah rah stuff for some older fans brought some renewed energy around the team. But I think that is mostly worn off now.
Maybe this post won't age well... The game isn't over. At least the clock says it's not.Leave a comment:

i refuse to believe that TJD has been healthy since that fall against Nebraska. Something is just not right with himLeave a comment:

I'd say prepare for more of the same. This team is pretty sucky. It just doesn't suck as hard as the Miller teams. But roughly the same. Baby steps (I hope), but I'm not holding my breath.Leave a comment:

I hope the team doesn't feel like me, because I'm just ready for the season to end. I'm just pessimistic there's a run in them at this point and it's just a march to the inevitable: First round exit in the BTT (maybe in heart-breaking fashion giving up a backdoor or wasting a last possession), no NCAAT, then the NIT and a game or two including a loss to some .500 team to end the season.
I hope I'm wrong...Last edited by clownskull; 03-09-2022, 09:46 PM.Leave a comment:
