Their hopes are probably not exactly riding high right now.

A game IU had to have... they got. A lot had to change and go right. A big part of that was some intensity, and purpose, that they lacked for a lot of the game. Onto the next one...

and now, they seem to still have some fight left in them.
there's still time for bball's prophecy to ring true with a close, yet disappointing finish.

This team will lose first round in the nit. They deserve it too.
since the first Purdue game, they've fallen to archie-level suckiness.

It felt better than an Archie team earlier in the year. Especially making that comeback against Syracuse and at least getting the game to OT and (IIRC) scoring over 100 points. And the defense seemed better for some time. But down the stretch, it's felt remarkable similar. At least they beat Purdue once.
I wonder how many flaws were hidden by an easier schedule until the wheels finally, once again, came off?

And Woodson hasn't exactly impressed me either. He brought some initial energy to the program, but this was a program that needed a coaching change, or some kind of sea change like a coaching change brings. And that "Knight's guy!" rah rah stuff for some older fans brought some renewed energy around the team. But I think that is mostly worn off now.

Maybe this post won't age well... The game isn't over. At least the clock says it's not.

i refuse to believe that TJD has been healthy since that fall against Nebraska. Something is just not right with him

    I hope I'm wrong...
I hope you're wrong too but, it sounds entirely plausible. If the hoosiers are having another crap day at the foul line and throwing it away like they're known to do, the chances of winning are slim at best. edit: i almost forgot, considering the hoosiers all-time record in the btt is a losing record, the chances favor a one and done as per the norm.
