No... because time is also a factor. There was too much time to go for 2 considering the pace of the game.

There really isn't too much time. It's right at the 4th quarter and you need those points no matter what. If you go for 2 later in the game and don't get it, you don't get a chance to redeem yourself if you miss. But if you do it now, there's plenty of time to make up for those points.

Of course, it's all moot if your team is playing like crap.

Also... the more time on the clock the more importance needs to be placed on IF you miss the 2 then what does that do to the score if the other team gets another score... vs what it would be if you just took the PAT and played the game out for a few more possessions.

So far, possessions have not been at a premium.

All that adds up to being the wrong time to go for 2...
