The Colts won 2 games last year because Peyton Manning missed the entire season and we stuck with Painter at QB.

In 2008, the Detroit Lions went 0-16. In 2009 they went 2-14. The next season they went 6-10 with their starting QB being injured. In 2011 they go 10-6 and make the playoffs. The Lions were horrific in 2008, worse than the Colts last year. Yet made a huge turn around and made if FAST. To say teh Colts will win 10 games over the next 3 years is a ****ing joke.

I don't know why you aren't grateful to have a person with a crystal ball set you straight. Ol Blu could be giving his opinions at the national level on all sorts of topics and yet he because of his incredible generosity confines himself to our miserable little website populated by unenlightened Lilipulutians like ourselves. Be grateful for these enlightened opinions and the time he takes to remind us of the exact same thing over and over and over and over.................

I don't think I called you all stupid. I might have said that to the person who predicts the Colts will go 13-3 this year. I would apologize if I did that and I said everyone. I am not here to offer a benefit to anyone, only to express my opinion and that is all it is, my opinion. If you don't want to see it, ignore it. I have been a fan of the Colts since before you were in diapers. I like them. I don't like the owner because he is a liar but I have always been a Colts fan. People can like the Colts and think they have gone in the wrong direction or they are poorly managed. You will be hearing a lot more of this kind of talk if they are as bad this season as I think they will be. One does not have to be positive every minute to be a fan. I do go a Bronco forum. I saw that Peyton drew over 40,000 people to watch a practice. That is 20,000 over the old record. I expect to start seeing empty seats in Colts land as reality sets in........ ... But, I will be watching.

I'll make a prediction. I won't stop posting and I won't get banned because I don't call people names or at least I don't mean to. I don't think you are all stupid. Some of you are just such rabid fans that you can't see the forests for the trees. I have been watching the Colts for over 50 years. I am seen the ups and downs, big wins and terrible losses and the good decisions and bad decisions that have been made by management long before the Irsay family became involved. I only have a few more years left and I would like to see them win again but I am not sure that I will........ ...

Honestly, the Colts will be better simply because they'll have a better QB for the entire season. The team won 2 games last season despite starting the likes of Curtis Painter for the majority of the season and probably would've won a few more had they made the move to Orlovsky sooner. It wouldn't surprise me if they win anywhere from 5-7 games this upcoming season. Give this team two, maybe three years of rebuilding, and they should be right back in the playoffs with shrewd management decisions and some savvy free agent signings.

It wouldn't surprise me if they win anywhere from 5-7 games this upcoming season. Give this team two, maybe three years of rebuilding, and they should be right back in the playoffs with shrewd management decisions and some savvy free agent signings.

I hope your are right. I have no confidence in Irsay and company in doing that. I see no reason to expect shrewd management decisions from this bunch and I expect nothing but junk free agent signings.... ...

Why no confidence in Irsay? He made the right moves before the 1998 season with the hirings of Polian and Mora, along with the drafting of Manning. He made another great decision in 2002 with Dungy.

He once again has a new GM, coach, and franchise QB. I think he's earned the right for fans to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Irsay lies every time he opens his mouth. He did make the right moves in 1998 hiring Polian. I think that Polian hired Dungy. He has a QB who is highly regarded but hardly a franchise QB. He has to earn that. I don't know if the new GM and coach can find their asses with both hands. I don't expect them to be around long anyway in what will be a long painful rebuilding process.... ...

How dare a fanbase have optimism for it's own team. What right do you think you have to walk in and quash the hopes of people who have it? What kind of person does that? Ive never ever seen someone get mad at a team before for the reason that you are mad for --- that you think you may not be around to see them reach elite status again. I don't even know what to say to that, it's... craziness. So the Colts should completely change their plan and go into "win-now mode" just because OlBlu thinks he's only got a few years left? O_O

I'm sure that's right there on their off-season PowerPoint business plan:

"SLide 1: OlBlu thinks he's exiting stage left in a few years, so let's go out and win 6 championships with Manning who just had 6 surgeries on his neck and is 36 years old."

Irsay isn't going to be making any of the football decisions going forward. He picked the GM and the coach, and now it's time to let those guys do what they do best. He rarely interfered with Polian, and I don't expect him to with Grigson either.

As for Luck, he's about the closest thing to a franchise QB coming out of the draft that I've ever seen. This kid simply has it.
