It is very exciting for Indy. I hope this isn't the only Superbowl they host. It would be nice to see them continue to get some other big events too.

Yeah I rather have seen the Harbaugh Bowl.

At least I can accept whoever wins that game.

      This one not so much.

And its what the NFL and ESPN wanted two big markets vying for the biggest price... and for ESPN its the East Coast as if they couldn't talk about NYC and Boston enough already.

Sadly I don't see the Giants winning this one. The Pats have revenge on their minds and they played earlier in the season the team that loses ends up winning the SB if they meet again.

I can root for Eli, especially against the Pats.

If only it weren't his second rodeo... I'm already annoyed at the Eli is better than Peyton comparisons right now.

Eli is good I've always thought that. But really to say he's better than Manning yeah no.

He's fortunate to play for a team that actually bothers to you know build a team.

Asking for a draft day trade was the smartest decision he ever made.

At least with the Harbowl the teams may have won before but it would be nice for Alex Smith/Captain Comeback to have won it all or even Flacco.

You can only collect all those $$$$$$$$$$ if you have the seats in your restaurants....And Indianapolis does not. It's the dirty little secret about our super bowl bid. Only about 20,000 sit down restaurant seats in downtown Indy.

Hm, I disagree. There are several restraunts/bars that are for the most part dead during the day and even most weeknights are going to get pounded. I know a couple that are going to be able to stay in business purely because of the reservations from businesses at night, not to mention what will be coming through the rest of the day.

And, I know a couple place will have outdoor tents and expanded seating. Not sure how many places or how it will work.

I also wouldn't be suprised if Daniels uses this as an opportunity to pitch Indy to businesses in town. Few Super Bowls have been able to concetrate all the entertainment in one area because most cities don't have the convention center and major stadiums and arenas this close to each other. New Orleans, then?

I think there are other ways Indy can capatolize on all that $$$$$$$ it remains to be seen if we will.

We spent the day down there today, walking to it since we live downtown. And what struck me about everything was that it's a master stroke for pitching other conventions and events. Even if they push the limits of where they can put people (we had to go to Ram, meh, and they put us in overload seating) what they are showing is the strength of the Lucas-Convo-Georgia St-BLF connection, along with the impact of connecting JW, Westin, Marriot, the Mall, etc into the network. The massive beach tent in Victory Field will be a perfect example of how easily they can expand the space without losing connections to the area.

Indy is starting have a sense of the San Antonio Riverwalk setup to it in terms of connectivity.

They'll split seams trying to fit in the SB crowds, but for all the other events that don't match the size of the SB it's going to come off as very strong I think. I had my doubts about some of it, but they made good on improving the right areas the right way.

We couldn't have asked for better weather. 50 today, 58 tomorrow, and 40's rest of the week before cooling to a high in the mid 30's on game day. Just incredible weather for this time of year. A year ago this week was the crippling ice storm. We could easily be having highs in the mid 20's right now.

What's ironic is that Indy will have superior weather this week compared to that in Dallas a year ago.

Call me crazy, but I think Indianapolis is going to SHATTER the record for most people at NFL Experience. We're already halfway there if they've already had 100k go through the doors.

The weather's been brilliant. I just looked at today's forecast and saw that a high of 60F was expected today. So much for snow and ice storms.

Hey guys, can someone post some cool pictures. I know there is a building that is going to be decked out. Being in Atlanta, I'd love to see my native city and all the cool stuff going on.

                          Thanks!
First time in a long time, I've been happy with the team that was constructed, and now they struggle. I blame the coach.
