Actually, I forgot that the Pro Bowl is before the big one this season. I hope we are playing in the Super Bowl too, even though I'm not optimistic about it happening now.

Its cool they got picked, its too bad they they cant play in the game since they will be playing in the Super Bowl.

Meh. The honor is nice, but (hopefully) they won't be playing in it. The pro bowl has been completely ruined for the players.

It was once a relaxing weekend in Hawaii after the season was over where everyone was able to play because the season is over. Now many great players (such as the Colts if they make it) won't even be playing because they will be resting for the Super Bowl. Not to mention that it's now going to be in a bunch of NFL cities that players go to during the season anyway. A trip to Hawaii with your peers had to be the perfect paradise to end your season in.

IIRC, it's one and done for this format. I do know that it's going back to Hawaii next year.

I don't think it was 100% permanent to get away from Hawaii but I'd assume it was a leverage move of some kind to show Hawaii that the NFL wasn't locked into the Pro Bowl being in Hawaii.... as well as testing the waters on rotating locations. IOW... it's no longer 'guaranteed' the Pro Bowl will be in Hawaii...
