Winner winner chicken dinner.... You picked it and McAfee was close but glad he didn't get his since he came across as being a real jerk as of late.

Defense was solid. Offense was not. O-Line gets a lot of the blame. AR was "meh" to me though things might have looked better if Ogletree hadn't dropped the TD and several plays he did make got called back on penalties. But he didn't have any complete bonehead moments. Offensive line is a bigger problem right now than QB IMO. AR was wearing Lions players a lot of the game.

We allowed zero sacks today. Our quarterback was 10-28, but I’m sure it was everyone else’s fault.

It’s crazy that he can play that poorly and his friends lay gets excused.

AR did have some big plays taken away by penalties and the TD drop by Ogletree, but yeah, it’s just not good enough QB play to get it done.

Like I’ve said a couple times, these last few years have been so depressing that I almost wish we would have just given Wentz another chance. At least back then the offense could put up some points and be competitive. Don’t get me wrong - Wentz was flawed and obviously that team still missed the playoffs - but at least they could make some things happen.

Honestly, it’s kind of amazing that we are 5-7 with this offense that is Curtis Painter type of bad. Our TE’s aren’t good. And what the hell happened to JT and the running game? JT made the playoffs as a rookie and might not ever make it again with the Colts at this rate.

I went to the game. First time I’ve been to one since 2021. It was obviously overrun with Lions fans and the Colts fans weren’t into it. There’s no home field advantage anymore. All the sounds seem quieter. They don’t even do the intro with The Who song anymore. It’s all so subdued.

I know the schedule is mostly easy down the stretch, but there’s no way this team can possibly sniff the playoffs with this offense. This offense is light years away from the Wentz year and that team didn’t make the playoffs.

There’s no way this team can win in Denver. Heck, winning in New England won’t be easy by any stretch. We look at our schedule and think that some weak opponents are coming up, but other teams look at the Colts and think the same thing…..

Not sure how Richardson is blamed for the game yesterday. He really only missed one big throw, the one to Pierce.

If anyone should get the blame it's the O-line. They did nothing to help Taylor. That's 2 straight games where the run game has been a non-factor.

AR had a couple bad breaks with penalties and the dropped TD, but he still had a 48.4 QB rating. While he wasn’t making major mistakes, he also wasn’t making consistent throws either. Certainly nowhere near enough to give us any sort of chance.

On those early drives, we had a nice variety of plays to get us deep into the red zone, then we resorted to just dropping him back to pass a bunch. That’s just not going to work. Our offense is just terrible. The O-Line and running game are just non-existent right now.

This was my first game in attendance in 3 years. I’ve never seen LOS so lifeless (aside from the Lions fans of course). The home field advantage is just gone. There’s just no energy because the product on the field gives very little to cheer for. You can’t expect fans to get into it when you can’t even get into the end zone one time.

AR getting injured last season, I think, pretty much ended his chance to be the Colts QB. Well, not if he came out and impressed this season... but that's not happening. Minshew almost got the team into the playoffs last year in his stead. The patience is gone. And he's doing nothing to reignite the team and fans' passion.

Right now, AR is just a coach-killer kind of QB... You can't call the game you'd like to call because you have no faith in him actually giving the plays their best chance. So then there's the second-guessing of what he MIGHT be able to do and what MIGHT work instead. And then not get him hurt either.
Meanwhile, the team loses faith in both the QB and the coach. And the GM by extension.
Leadership is a giant void. Everyone just wants their paycheck and to get to the last game and move on.
                    Everyone.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

And when I say Lucas Oil was dead (aside from the huge amount of Lions fans), I’m not comparing it to the glory Manning days or the early days of Luck. I’m comparing it to just three years ago. I went to the Colts-Pats game in December 2021 when we were fighting for a playoff spot. That was a great atmosphere. Crowd was into it all game. All the fans want is to feel like there’s a chance. Watching that offense last Sunday - it was just hopeless for most of the game. Can’t even get to the end zone at home. Once fans feel like there’s no chance….that’s when you get apathy.

The 2021 collapse. The failed Matt Ryan experiment in 2022……the home loss against Houston to keep us out of the playoffs last year……and now this season. It’s all taking a toll.

The worst indictment against this operation is that our division is absolutely abysmal. It doesn’t even matter what Houston does because they’ll win it by default. It’s not like we are playing in a division with Detroit, Green Bay, and Minnesota. That’s why Ballard should ultimately be shown the door - he never puts together a winner in a division that is usually weak year after year.

Honestly, it’s kind of amazing that we’re 5-7 because this offense
looks like that of a 2-10 team.

I'm sick in the head. Hoping for a victory knowing it won't mean squat other than to give us a worse draft pick.

For me the rest of the season is so we can have a pretty decent idea of what AR is. Need to know if we should look again or not. He's been better but needs to be more better.

IMO there are only 4, maybe 5 playoff-worthy AFC teams; KC, Buffalo, Pittsburgh & Baltimore. Maybe SD but I haven't seen them play. If a mediocre team is gonna get some extra playoff experience it may as well be us.

Hope the O-Line holds up today.

The most important thing is Gus Bradley is such a nice guy.

This is a pretty awful game. What kind of excuses will be made up for Richardson this time?

Serious when I say this. My local high school football team has better TEs than the Colts.
