He also said it was absolutely untrue and that he thought of Gloria James as a mother figure. If anything that article shows that rumors can ruin honest people's lives. It's an argument against the junior high gossip corner mentality that our society has become since the evolution of social media.

I bid this thread and it's stupidity farewell and adieu.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

Except they didn't have to go fishing together or say good things about each other at the length that they did to deny this rumor. All they had to say was, "not true" Yet here these guys are, hanging out like bros, have each others backs like they have their entire careers. Did you see Roy on the bench in the Atlanta series? Dude was cheering more than anyone in the arena. His slump has nothing to do with another teammate. It has to do with his confidence in his game.

And Delonte can feel that the rumor cost him money, but it really didn't. Because anyone with a brain doesn't believe that West actually slept with her. West's bipolar disorder is far more concerning to a team when we mention his off the court issues. His arrest shows why.

alright bro, keep thinking PG slept with Roy's wife! You know the one he's not married to! Have fun reading more great "true" stories on baller alert.

            Or look at the facts.

Well according to the idiot who sat next to me at the game tonight it was George Hill that slept with Hibbert's girl.

Somebody just needs to come out and admit the entire team did. Well except Cope because Frank wouldn't let him.

Re: Ok, So More On The "RUMOR"...

Okay, I haven't caught all of this thread but I thought I could be of some service regarding Delonte West... he is not in the NBA right now. That probably has nothing to do with that silly rumor that he boned LeBron's mom (that rumor never made any sense to me from jump street). It doesn't even have much to do with his skills. He was definitely an NBA-caliber player during his last season in Dallas. I watched every game he played. Talent-wise, Delonte absolutely should still be on an NBA team somewhere.

The reason he isn't in the league anymore is because of his assorted legal troubles and his well-documented struggles with bipolar disorder. That mental illness is a big part of the reason why most of his teammates, on an individual level, have nothing but positive things to say about him; however, his explosive temper made him a poor locker room guy as a whole. His crankiness and mood swings were totally unpredictable (as the disorder tends to affect people) and that obviously led to a lot of his legal trouble.

Cuban, himself, has said more than once that he really likes Delonte as a person, and he thinks he is a great basketball player, but his ongoing legal and emotional issues led to him getting waived by the Mavericks shortly after the end of the lockout.

It's a complicated situation, yes, but from all accounts, it had nothing to do with that stupid rumor or any league-wise conspiracy. Just thought I could contribute that before the admins have to go Scorched Earth on this thread.

Re: Ok, So More On The "RUMOR"...

I know Delonte West has a well documented case of bipolar disorder, I wonder if Roy could too? Maybe that could explain why he goes from Hakeem Olajuwon to Primoz Brezec in 2 nights? I haven't read this entire thread so maybe it's already been suggested. I don't think Roy has the temper and attitude issues, but it's possible that illness could affect people in different ways. I do know that Roy is very sensitive and emotionally fragile at times, but it's possible that there an even bigger issue that could maybe even be treated. I'm just throwing the idea around, I'm not a doctor and really haven't even been close to anyone who I know was diagnosed as bipolar so maybe I'm wrong for even bringing it up. Something has to explain the drastic inconsistency.

Hey now, Pacers Digest people. I already told you that the PG/Hibbert rumor was true, and I also used my inside sources to reveal the true reason behind the Lance/Turner rumor.

And yet here you are ignoring "indyaway", another dude with inside connections who is trying to tell you the real truth? That Delonte West is out of the league because he messed around with the King's mom, and not because of his bipolar disorder and criminal record?

Shaking my head at you guys.

Fine, if you won't take our word for it, go watch this exposé on the truth about Hibbert, Lance, and Delonte West for yourselves:
